That Bo Sox game really grinds my gears. Ok, I can understand if you end a game because the weather is bad, and you can't resume it, but how do you end a game early, and then start up a new game later that day. Why wudn't you finish the first game?

Quite new to this all so I wouldn't be surprised if my ideas are incorrect 99% of the time, but why do you take the cards /mets over?
I mean, the Mets offense is currently not all that stunning being 23rd currently (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/aggregate?sort=runs&split=0&group=9&season=2009&seasonType=2&statType=batting&type=reg) and would fall (of the games that Lohse pitched so far) right between the pirates and the astros where he went respectively 7ip with 2 ER and 9ip with 0 ER so I'd with those few numbers suspect he'd go quite long and give up few hits.
The cards offense on the other hand seems great and they will probably get quite a couple of runs off Hernandez but the Mets are a great 2.06ERA for relievers.
So in short I'd say the most runs are to be expected early in the game from the cards... but I wouldn't suspect those will be enough for the over and more suspect like a 6-1 victory for the cards.
I know I looked only at a very limited amount of numbers, but that was just so that you know why I am in doubt... But erm, yes, why exactly do you think they will go over?

Thats pretty good analysis, and it makes sense, so if I were you i'd go under. Dont wanna second guess urself and miss out on a winner because you opened up my thread. Maybe I'm overestimated the mets offense, but I just think that Lohse cant keep pitching as good as he has, and that he makes a few mistakes today that the mets capitalize on. Also last year every Cards/Mets game went over, so thats a stat I really like.
