going to be posting pretty inconsistantly for the rest of the baseball season. i wish every one good luck and a
bigsmiley.gif

some trends that i will be taking, actually hammering the rest of the season.

L vs L matchup = take under

wsox @ det take under = 9-2 last 11.

kc @ cle take over

yanks @ tor take over

Flo vs philly = flo beats this team to a pulp. 11 straight or something like that.

fade arizona = arizona is down 5,000 dollars this year at $100 plays.

bad teams vs lefty's

pitt 6-15
ariz 7-29
seattle 10-20
balt 12-21
det 16-28

good teams

yanks 25-7; @ 16-3 @ home

a's 18-12; 13-3 @ home

tbay 17-9; 11-4 @ home

sd 22-12

st louis 15-7

sfran 22-11; 15-3 @ home

col 18-11

best of luck and looking forward to football.

I stopped using multiple units because I was getting too erratic and it was harder to keep track.

I do change bet amounts frequently (only slightly though) but for tracking purposes I only count each as one unit.

It really makes a difference down the line because at any point in time you can look back and easily see where yer really at.

it does get pretty crazy betting multipple units, but i was doing so many dif types of betting.

i'm going back to way i was betting before, just betting games and not worry about units.

jaypaw - i know yo like the rays tonight but

wakefield is 10-1 lifetime, and i think 6-0 at ropicana with a 1.6 era. wow. the old knuckleball is much easier to control in the dome.

jumping on this tonigtonightht.

I hear ya on the units

Regarding the sox dont say I didnt warn you...

Wake has been superb there but Lurch hendrickson has been great over his last 3 outings - and you take ortiz out of the sox lineup the team loses a guy with 123 hits (2nd most on the team - to damon who has 125 [manny has 120 and millar has 99]) and the team leader in RBI (with 93 [manny has 83 damon has 56])

hendrickson has only faced the sox twice this year (once in relief and once starting)

when he stared - like I said before - he went 6 innings giving up only 2 runs - then in the 7th he gave up a boatload but the team had noone in the pen to help...

Anyway you could be right but I'm going with the ortiz theory

Hendrickson has actually been fairly lights out in seven of his past ten. The Yanks and Toronto got him for 5 earned runs in three innings each and the Marlins got 4 in four.

The other seven starts equal 54.1 innings and only SIX earned runs. That is of course just under a 1.00 ERA

BASEBALL AMERICA's #1 minor leaguer, B.J. Upton will start tonite for Rays at SS with Julio Lugo moving to 2B.

Passing the Side, but watching that with interest.

If the lineup can get 4+ tonite, we'll likely drop a Unit into the next two games versus Schilling and Arroyo.

forgive I don't know the redsox lineup, but if it looked like this--

damon .417
bellhorn .333
ramirez .500
millar .333
mueller .333
mirabelli .556
varitek .143
mientkiewicz .333
kapler .333

cabrera .500

Are you kidding me, every batter is hitting at 1-3 in a game tonight, some even better. the rays have no chance tonight.

sorry jaypaw, i have to disagree on this one.

Also I wasnt sure what the numbers were that you used - but I plugged in their batting averages.

What stat was that that you gave? Was that their average lifetime vs lurch?

I haven't posted any of my plays, however, I have some extra time today and noticed this thread.

I did play Tampa on the money line as I decided at the beginning of this season that I'd take Tampa whenever it is a home dog this year.

Though I don't factor managers into any one game, I do believe in Lou Pinella over the course of a season in certain spots.
