Sup fellas. Thanks to the late game Sunday, was able to show a profit for the first week of baseball...

Went 6-5 and won 974.67 yesterday... finished the week at 18-21-1 and up 175.67... also my figures for the year.

Lots of games today and I'll be stalking the UMPS later with Sy. Tonight we have VanOVER and Emmel. Vanover is just waiting for an UNDER, he had six in a row at the end of last year before going over in his last game and his first five or so of 2006. If he gets involved in a pitcher-friendly game tonight I'll wait for them to bet OVER after he gets announced and then come in on the other side.

Liked the Nationals at that price tonight, as who is Zambrano to be favored that over anyone the way he's been pitching as of late. But... I can't bet because Zimmerman is out and Church has the flu.

Pittsburgh lost six in a row on their last road trip and after winning 2 of 3 from Philly at home, returns to the road tonight to face the floundering Flubs, outscored 25-2 by Milwaukee Saturday and Sunday. Though he's just 3-4 in his career versus the Cubs, Santos has allowed three runs or less in seven of his eight starts against them. For Marshall, his first major league road outing was April 14 at Pittsburgh. He allowed four runs and five hits in five innings, walking one and striking out two to earn his first win (11-6). The price tonight, however, appears to be a little ridiculous.

The play: Pittsburgh +145 at Jazz... 200 to win 290.

Written by our own TimH this morning: 'Texas offense has really hit their stride over the L10 games as they are scoring 6.4 rpg and hitting over .300. McDung has a terrible 2.23 whip in his L3 starts and constantly works with a ton of runners on base. Loe has been inconistent for the Rangers this season and both bullpens are an adventure waiting to happen.'

McDung (1-3, 9.27 ERA) tied a season high by issuing seven of Tampa Bay's single-game record 14 walks in just five innings during a 4-2, 10-inning win at New York on Wednesday.

McDung's .340 opponent batting average is the highest by any major league pitcher who has tossed at least 15 innings. He is 2-1 with a 9.58 ERA in five career appearances, including four starts, against the Rangers.

Kammeron Loe (0-2, 5.20) will face the Devil Rays for the second time this season. He opposed McClung 10 days ago in his first career start versus Tampa Bay, and lasted just three innings while giving up six runs and seven hits.

Loe faced Oakland on Wednesday and threw a season-high 106 pitches. All those pitches thrown and these anemic ERA's by each pitcher spells runs, runs, runs... I'm not even gonna wait for the umpire on this one...

The play: OVER 10.5 -108 - 324 to win 300

Holbrook and his 57 percent strike ratio goes in Miami. I'll take a stab at OVER here as the Marlins are getting hits, just not timely ones and they're striking out too much. But I forsee a breakout tonight, and the Phillies have seen Willis a dozen times already. Even with those 2 guys out (Howard and Abreu)I'll bite.

OVER is 10-3 in PHI L-13 night games.
OVER is 7-2 in FLA L-9 games as a favorite.
Over is 15-5 in FLA L-20 home games.

The play: PHI/FLA OVER 8 plus 107 - 200 to win 214

Rex..

Holbrooke's 57% strike ratio is from only 1 game at HP this year. He's over 60% for his career.

Plus i wouldn't trust a Philly lineup without RyHow and Bobby in it. Shane Victorino and Alex Gonzalez aren't exactly great replacements

SImply a value play that have some decent trends, Roach. I realize it's only one game but with Madson out there, that total is just too low...

With the wind blowing in as violently as it is tonight in Boston, Wakefield could be in trouble. Remember, knuckleball pitchers are better off when the winds blows OUT. When it blows in, the balls tend to float towards the plate more and move less... Could be B.P. for the bombers tonight, and even without Sheffield, I'm gonna bite on the RL.

The play: Yankees -1.5 runs plus 135 - 200 to win 270

Correlated parlay. Guccione and his low strike percentage going in Flushing Meadow. Who is Zambrano to be that kind of a fave. Let's see Washington with an outburst like Thursday and Git R Dun tonight.

The play: 2team parlay WASH plus 148 and OVER 9 -110 - 150 to win 560.18

Following Sy's lead in Cleveland. Kellogg has been more hitter-friendly this year thus far... he had been far more pitcher-friendly since the start of QuesTec... but this year he seems to be reverting back to an old form... Those pitchers can be vulnerable, I'm not all that impressed with either...

The play: CHW/CLE OVER 9 EVEN - 200 to win 200
