A great NL East battle begins tonight in Olympic Stadium. Allot is on the line for both of these teams and they will have four games to make a statement. The Phillies have struggled out of the box on this 13 game season-long road trip. They have started the trip 1-5 thru Milwaukee and St. Louis. I think the change of venue will help them tonight. Both pitchers are outstanding vs. tonight's opponent. This game will be decided elsewhere. I will side with confidence and some solid recent history. The Phillies are 9-4 YTD versus the Expos. Moreover, They have won 15 of the last 23 meetings. Philadelphia as a dog is good value to me. I will take my shot with the Fightin's.

MAJOR STREAK:
Expos starting pitchers have not allowed a home run in the last 10-plus games (70 1/3 innings). The last HR was Colorado's Todd Helton on August 13 at Olympic Stadium.

fwiw, im with you guys.. had a feeling wolf may pitch well tonight and thome may break that streak,, however this may be a reach on our part.. hope not.
