Florida Panthers have played much better hockey recently, practically the last 5 games of the Panthers have been decided by 1 goal (often times late-goals or OT). Nonetheless, Jocelyn Thibault is 8-4-0-0 this year with a 0.931%. Luongo is still questionable, and if he can't go Hurme is well prepared posting a 3-0-1 record this year and a 0.942%. Blackhawks are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall. And the Blackhawks have won their last 6 straight games against the Panthers. Chicago are 4-1-1-0 against Eastern teams where as Florida are only 2-3-0-2 against the Mighty Western Conference. This game will probably come down to the team that can convert the most powerplays into goals. Chicago has a 10.7 PP% - ranked a dreadful 29 in the league; but possess the 3rd best PK in the league at a 87.7 PK%. On the opposite end of the spectrum the Florida has a 16.0 PP% (ranked 15) but a mediocre 82.7 PK %. More then likely this game will be a one goal difference, and will have to take the Blackhawks who have had the Panthers number!

--> Both teams are just horrible this season. Too much talent and not enough production. Which team will fold tonight? Either the High paid Rangers who are 6-9-2-0 or the Sleeping Sharks who are 5-7-1-1. There is no way the NYR should be 2.70 to 1 odds as underdogs. Too much value here to pass up with a Ranger team that can score in bunches when they feel like it. Rangers have won 2 out of their last 3 games (losing their last game 6-3 against Columbus), where as the Sharks are 2-4-1 in their last 7, being winless in 2. This game can definitely go either way and taking the Rangers as road dogs is very tempting. Looking for Bure and Richter to have a big game in the Shark Tank.
