Miami (1-6) at N.Y. Jets (5-1)

The Jets come into night's game after a tough loss last week 13-7 to
Super Bowl Champs New England and are currently one game back in the AFC
East. On the other side Miami is riding high after a 31-14 spanking over
St. Louis and would love nothing more than to win this one against a
division rival.

Quarterback Jay Fiedler had a great game last week as he went 13-17 or
203 yards and two touchdowns, although he is not getting any protection
up front he was able to find Chris Chambers and tight end Randy
McMichael on several occasions. He is going to need a lot more help
tonight from the front four, who have allowed him to be sacked 26 times
this season!

New York had a poor performance against New England as their top running
back Curtis Martin was held to just 70 yards in 20 carries he is going
to have to have a 100+ plus yard game tonight and I can't think of a
better defense to get it against. Also look for Quarterback Chad
Pennington to find ways to get Santana Moss and Wayne Chrebet more
involved tonight, we might even see more of LaMont Jordan if this game
gets out of hand early.

Summary- The Jets are going to do something tonight that St.Louis
couldn't do last week and that is run the football, I look for them to
come out ready to play and ready to make a statement for the loss that
they took last week, were going to play it safe and go with the over 35
in this one all the way to the bank!

It's Monday night and the only reason that I think the fins might score that many is because they are going to try and prove that they aren't as bad as they really are, I think they take it up as far as they can for the national crowd.

If you are going to tease, tease Miami to +13 with the over to 28.5. If you tease the favorite down to a pick, the only way you win is if Jets win.....if you tease the dog, Jest can win big (-12) but not HUGE, or Jets can win small, or Miami can pull the upset, and you still cover, lots of ways you can win. Just my opinion.

And if you think the Fins don't have a chance to win, remember Cincy last Monday???? NO ONE (myself included) gave them a chance. Granted, they were playing at home, but in this age of NFL parity, take all the points you can get, home or away. Good luck.
