Minny fell apart at the end yesterday. Lesson learned: Stay away from inconsistent Giants who knows what they'll do

I like the way the Total situation is shaping up here om Monday night. You have a mediocre defense with San Diego that won’t have the home Monday night crowd behind it to fuel it, thus making a bad situation worse. You have in Miami a defense that is the number 1 run defense in the league. They are also 29th in passing yardage allowed. So you get the old question is the Dolphin run defense that good or is it that the passing lanes are open so why bother running on them. Miami is #1 in points allowed so most likely the strength against the run is for real. The San Diego coaches looking at the same stats that you and I see will most likely adjust their offensive game plan and will take to the air to set up the run. Common sense. Only way I see San Diego being competitive tonight is through the air.
When Miami has the ball they’ll be facing the 27th rated defense against the run and 24th against the pass, so Miami can take what ever it wants when it comes to an offensive game plan. They’ll get their points. Public will be expecting a low scoring game with these two running teams. We all know what happens with public expectations.

Occams I'm inclined to agree with you on that one. Look at my beloved alma mater in college (Penn State) who has the #1 ranked pass defense in the country but the #110th ranked RUN defense in the country. I'll give you a guess as to why they're #1 against the pass...and it's not because they're that good.

If you like the Over you are best to wait for the number to dwindle because I think the under will be pounded all day and up to kickoff. G/L tonight.

OR....agree w/you on the over..especially on Monday nite..they seem to put out xtra effort and more O's than U's...also the SD defense is poor at best and think Griese and the Fins take advantage of them...also the poor Miami pass defense will let SD pass on them and SD's pass offense not that bad...Miami-6 and over 37 1/2

SD has no passing game, no receivers, they can only run, and not tonight, under all the way, SD will not get a TD.

Damn. Was away from my computer. Buddy and I were watching the Monday night game.O.Mari comes in to kick the easy FG from the 15 yard line it seems, to bring home the money. Buddy says,"Oh no, this guy is going to **** me again. I had Miami last week against New England, Mari misses a chip shot from inside the twenty trying win the game and the game goes into OT. In OT Mari misses from inside the twenty AGAIN and New England goes on the win the game." I tell my Bud thanks for the ****ing jinx MF.
