needless to say, i like the standard under quite a bit. saints offense is solid, but this is going to be a big test for them, playing a solid defense. vikes on the road likely to stick with a heavy dose of the run. really dont think the standard under should be much higher than 42, so that explains why im taking a stab at the near 2/1 return. the string of monday night overs should end here.

nah. oddsmakers did a nice job with this line. anyone that tells you this is a number that leaves the books open to any sort of lopsided action is kidding themselves. you couldnt ask for a better number. saints bettors feel confident backing a quality offense on their home field. vikings backers feel confident backing a preseason super bowl contender who can run the ball and play good defense (and is undervalued right now). just a sharp number all the way around. cant even offer any sort of lean on the side.

i think is a coin flip myself. the rx poll is about 50/50 also. i do think the vikes should be 1 to 1.5 favs but home field in nawlins is a big deal. i stayed away from the side except for minny teaser. did play the under though.

played the under as well tonite. i use 2 locals (1) had it at 47 while other had it at 48' liked minny but thought under looked better.also thought minny would run more.good news is they get ball 2h and hopefully they can drain some clock. gl under bettors we may need it but i highly doubt minny throws the ball alot with this 10 point lead
