heh... I like the Pats too. Kanell looked bad last week but of course he was playing the Ravens, and the week before he did well coming in to replace Buerline. But if you lok at his carreer stats they aren't too hot. Gotta go with Brady over this guy, IMO. Got burned with this rationale today going against Rattay, but, hell, I'll stick with it. I'm taking the Pats ML and parlaying it with the Jets next week. I don't know how the Raiders expect to beat the Jets if they play like they did today, and who's going to q.b. for them? Rick Mirer? vs Pennington?! I'll take the Jets and gladly give the 2 points.

Did all you guys read Sixth Sense's write up. Denver is his top play of the week. He has a good analysis of the game and I switched to betting Denver from NE after reading his analysis.

ESQAJM, I did see that he heaavily favored Denver, didn't read the whole write-up tough. Were some of his stats taken from when Plummer was in at the helm for Denver? o.k. I read it, no disrespect to Sixth but some of those situations asume Denver is a "winning" club, which they aren't without Plummer. Pats stop Portis and they win, IMO, and why can't they?

I'll answer my own question there, the refs seem to be pretty lenient on the Denver offensive line, especially in Denver, if they let thee guys get away with blatant holding all night it could be a tough game for the Pats.

Oren: Sixth indicates that they will give the ball to Kannell and tell him not to lose the game. He will only do short dink and dunk passes which he did in the two games he has played so far. The 1st game against Minn wasn't bad. (16 for 31, 1 TD, no Int) Last week against Balt he was 16 for 31, 0 TD, 2 Int. Not too good.
But the game will be won by Denver's running game with a minimum of passes from Kannell thrown in to keep NE off balance.

I know Sixth had a great week and I didn't but I'll continue to defend my Pats pick. What happens if the Pats get a lead after stopping the Denver running game and Kannel has to make some plays to keep up with Brady? denver's got a good D so it should be a low scoring affair but... the Pats have a great D as well. Pats running game is weak so I guess you gotta give that to the Broncos. I just don't like the way they looked against the Ravens and the Pats have beaten Miami and the Titans recently so I'm riding the Pats bandwagon tonight.
