coming off a pretty decent day was real happy with some picks, did not give up on Texas AM like so many others did, i explained that i liked them even if the guy did not play....and even had them as my Biggest play stetson outright had a write up on them, Charleston did what i said, they had their 1st really good shooting game, which is why i liked the OVER also and hitting a 4 team parlay helps too

12-7 and a 4 team parlay won, winning my only BIG play the one that everyone else gave up on early again i explained i liked A+M even if he did not play....i hope ya played the parlay for more i know many that did i thought 5-1 was a good payout for that

12-7 aint bad when ya hit your biggest also and get a 4 team parlay like being 13-7 or 26-14 that would be good

record is still no where it usually is, starting 30-13 i should have a better one, 127-100-5 150-75 is what i would have wanted ...long way to go

ok i am going to try a dog here, not sure about anyone else, but i watched a pretty good N.Illinois team the other night win big as a 4 pt dog, now they are staying in state again and going to Northwestern and are getting 12, NW has not played since the 19th, wheree they lost to a very good Miss st team 57-66, and N.ill comes in winning their last 5, they have been scoring really well averaging 83 points a game, if they can get their avg they could win here, but NW plays slower, wanting games to be in the 60's maybe low 70's as they avg 67 pts a game and give up 62, and N.ILL is giving up 80, but N.ILL has played and won games like that when they beat Georgia st on the road 70-64, what can N.ILL score that is the ? if they can get to 71-73 they cover, NW does not want to get into a shootout, their highest scoring games were 71-72 points, they would rather win scoring that, so can they keep N.ILL to 60? i do not think so , N ill is the better shooting team here, as they are shooting 47% to 43%, and from 2 they are 53% to 50%, and from 3 they are only shooting close to 30% while NW is at 36%, Effective shooting is 54% to 48% N.ILL.....but N.ILL needs to shoot ft's a bit better they had 35 the other night and made 23, 65.7% but they did shoot the 3 a lot better as they were 10/22 for 45% they do that and they will be fine , this will not be an easy game for N.Ill , NW did beat Dayton early on, but i think N.Ill has been getting better and for a team who was picked 5th in the MAC well the MAC should be strong anyway i have to take 12 here, and hope N.ILL can get into the high 60's low 70's they do they will be fine , the Total at 143 says thats right about where they think this will be , i would love a win, but i think something in the 4-6 pt range 75-70 ...gl 151

One other play here, and it's a total so beware but i do like it is Oakland vs Xavier this line opened at Xavier -15 148 and has dropped to Xavier -13.5 150, i think Oakland at 15 would have been worth a shot, and maybe even at 13.5 they did beat Marshall and Loyola marymount on neutral courts, and lost by 6 to Ohio state, they will have to score in the mid to high 70's i think to have a shot here, my gut says Xavier will score a lot maybe low 80's they scored 79 Vs Robert morris and 77 vs Jacksonville 2 teams that want games in the high 50's low 60's , But Oakland will be fine with a up tempo game, thats why i am going OVER 150 here, i see a 84-76 style of game, or if Xavier wins big like 90-73 it will go over too, so i think the best play here is the over, the line has drifted up 2 points so grabbing now

OVER 150 Xavier/Oak just a half unit because it is a total , even though i did hit some yesterday just a half is fine but i do like it , just because some one says they are betting 500 on a game does not mean it will win, i do not care if ya bet 5.00 a game if ya pick winners that's all that matters , half of it is talk anyway gl 151

well was liking the OVER in the Maryland BC/Hampton game till i seen it was 167...lol both teams are giving up 84 pts a game, so do not think defense will have anything to do with this game..lol but that is high, this is the 1st home game for Hampton playing someone other than a div 2 or 3 school, this game could easily be a 91-85 type of game, rt now i do think Lindenwoon at +4 or San Jose at -8 could be worth a shot still going through them , and the presbyterian game vs Elon looks like a possible OVER play also ....wishing everyone the best this year 151

Both totals i got now are 151.5 , and also the line has went back up to 15 i think many are seeing a bigger win by Xavier, which i wrote about too, that could hurt it if they win like 82-66 , that was a worry of mine, i think i am basing my over play on that Oakland can get to 70, looking back i said that if xavier won big i thought it would be a 90-73 type of win, if it went to 153 and has came back down i am glad about that, i would always like to see some kind of action going both ways, nothing worse than taking a team -1 and watching it shoot to -6 and never coming back down, rarely do they cover, its nice to get the early line but rarely does the team cover every number in the move, usuallt its they win by 3 ..lol

i am going to go with Troy here +7 on the road at EKY, Troy is a team that can score, they avg 79 pts a game giving up 81 (-2) and EKY is averaging just 69 points, and give up 78 (-9), EKY was the highest scoring team after 2 games as they scored 133 and 108 vs div 2 schools, since they have lost their last 2 games at home to Tenn Martin 74-80 and they lost to PrarieView 64-76, Troy has beaten 2 div 2 schools 111-46 and 92-47 but on the road they lost to a very good OHIO team 88-70, and they went out west and played at Oregon st and lost 80-81 in 2 OT, and really should have won that game, it was 61-61 Oregon st had 39 ft's in that game to 29 for them, they out rebounded Oregon st also and were 10/31 from 3 , then they lost at home to Sam Houston in OT 88-86 a game where they shot 48% and 38% from 3 but the game had 81 ft's and they had 5 fewer and made 4 fewer both teams were only 60% from the ft line, last game Troy won 80-67 vs Grambling st , point being Troy is a couple of points away from being 5-1, and EKY has shown nothing as far as having a home court advantage, and Troy is the better shooting team at 41.2% to 35.6% for EKY, from 2 they shoot 47.4% to 40.4%, from 3 they shoot 30.3% to 28% but another thing here is Troy is only giving up 30% from 3 and EKY is letting teams shoot 42% from 3 so that should help Troy, also their Effective shooting % is 46.7% to 41.1% and in the ft Troy is better by far here as they are shooting 68.5% from the ft line to 48% for EKY, Troy does need to cut back on their turnovers, if they can keep that down they could win this game, but at +7 i think its worth a play here , the O/U is 154 i would say OVER but am just going to go with TROY +7 if it goes OVER it helps TROY for sure

also going to go with UMBC +3 at Hampton, this is Hamptons 1st home game, but i like how UMBC played at Louisville and lost by just 1 pt 94-93, and their win over Sacred Heart 85-80, and i think this could go OVER also but its a 166 number, But UMBC has scored a lot of points in many games , and they are the better shooting team, better rebounding team, their bench is contributing more , both teams are giving up over 80 a game, but i like that UMBC is averaging 67 shots a game to just 54 for Hampton , and are making 7 more on average , one book has dropped to 2.5 but i can get 3 even though i think they win this gl 151

Intersting game between S.Illinois and Ind st we all know how Ind st has been scoring, s.ill can score but they are more of a team who wants it in the 130"s maybe lower 140's they are playing well right now Ind st is -5.5 total is 148.5
