RECORD YTD 59-44 (.572)
SIDES 37-30 (.552)
TOTALS 22-14 (.611)
Houston couldn't cover on Friday here against Denver, a loss here.
From NBA.com:
"With one more win, the Kings can clinch their third straight Pacific Division title. They put themselves in that position with Sunday's resounding 102-85 home victory over the rival Los Angeles Lakers.
Sacramento also can clinch the division with a win at home Wednesday against Golden State. However, Denver has a MUCH greater sense of urgency.
The Nuggets took a huge step toward their first postseason appearance in nine years with Saturday's 110-100 home overtime victory over Portland. Rookie Carmelo Anthony made a huge statement in the Rookie of the Year race, making the tying jumper with 3.7 seconds left in regulation and scoring six of his 30 points in overtime.
The Nuggets are tied with Utah for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference, one game ahead of Portland. Denver holds the tiebreaker edge over both clubs.
This is Denver's last home game of the season as they complete their campaign at San Antonio on Wednesday. That could be a tougher spot as the Spurs are in the chase for the Midwest Division title and the hottest team in the NBA.
The Kings hold a 2-1 lead in the season series, with the home team winning each game by an average of 18.3 points. Sacramento has won 10 of the last 11 meetings.
On the final day of the 1994-95 season, the teams were tied for the final playoff spot when Denver beat Sacramento at home to claim its last postseason berth."
I like Denver at home, with a Sac team coming off a big Laker win.(Letdown, don't forget Sac has been struggling) Sac can still win the division with a loss here in Denver and a win before the home crowd in their last game. Game means more to DENVER and it apperars to be a good situation for Sac not showing up tonight.
