Monday Baseball

Back refreshed after a full day off Sunday and a few days with no baseball. Can't leave any more games on the table though as the season is almost over.
Early game:

White Sox pitcher Samardzija holds a 4.69 daytime ERA and 5.02 on the road. He also has given up less than 4 earned runs just once since July. On the other side, the Detroit bullpen has a 4.58 ERA this season. Why do I bring that up? Well, because the game has already been turned over to the bullpen. Reliever Kyle Ryan starts today and brings his 5.89 daytime (6.08 overall) ERA to the hill to go with his 2.09 WHIP. Get ready for some scoring.

Already saw the lineups. Cabrera only hitting .164 v samardzija lifetime so him out is no big deal. Avila will the be the first one off the bench. Managers set the lineups unbiased and to score IMO.

The over was the right side and play today but watching this game looked like a bunch of double A players just wanting to get this game over with. Samardja looked like the only guy out there playing for anything at all.

Samardzija is cy young all of a sudden? Unreal.. No thoughts on game 2 other than wolf is old and crafty ain't gonna cut it. Tonight I'm very large on Pirates/Rockies Over 10.5. Gray has a 7.88 ERA at home, the average total in his home starts is 15.5, crappy Colorado bullpen, Burnett shaky since DL return and this season on road has allowed 78 hits in 67 innings.

Chipz- I'm gonna be eating short ribs for dinner tonight and washing it down with some Pliny the elder - no need for the food bank, come on by and I'll feed ya
