Welcome to the new sponsor of the Rx Service Thread: Cappers File - The Largest Online Database For Rating Handicappers

The Largest Online Database for Researching and Rating Handicappers

Cappersfile is a common grounds for categorizing and identifying the truthful/good handicappers from the dishonest/bad handicappers. Over 2000 Cappersfiles can be found on our website all graded with an A through F rating, with the list continuously growing. The internet is a great tool for obtaining information; unfortunately, information can be posted and sold even if it is neither truthful nor accurate – Capperfile wants this to change!

Three Search Methods:
Cappersfile includes three methods for identifying which handicapper will best suit your needs.

Recommended Cappers: Cappersfile.comhas identified handicappers that have a minimum of “A” or “B” Cappersfile rating, and has personally experienced excellent customer service including expedited communications with these handicappers.

Browse function: allows for you to narrow your selection of handicappers by picking which options you prefer your handicapper to contain. You can narrow results by grade, free picks, guarantees, etc.

Search function: is available to see the grade given by Cappersfile, if a handicapper or handicapping website is already in mind.

Handicapper Grading:
Grades for each Cappersfile are derived from an established criteria set including: 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party monitoring for record validity, guarantee offerings, domain longevity, active posting of results and archiving picks history.

Grades are given to handicappers on a scale of A, B, C, D and F.
A and B level cappers meet most, if not all, milestones that Cappersfile has identified to be considered a trustworthy handicapper.

C level cappers are not considered to be untrustworthy because they so contain some of the milestones that Cappersfile identifies as a trustworthy handicapper.

D and F level handicappers do not present their information as anticipated by Cappersfile.

Handicappers cannot buy their grade from Cappersfile, they must earn it!

User Reviews:

KEY STAT: Wigan have won their last four league and cup games against Ipswich

EXPERT VERDICT: Wigan’s campaign has started slowly, but they are unbeaten at home – albeit their two wins have come against modest opposition in Blackpool and Birmingham. Ipswich have slowly started to improve after a mini-dip but may have to wait longer for their first away win.

RECOMMENDATION: Wigan

KEY STAT: Valencia have won 11 of the last 17 meetings between these sides

EXPERT VERDICT: Valencia were poor on their travels last season but should be confident after an unbeaten start to this campaign and can prove too strong for Getafe. Newly-capped Spanish forward Paco Alcacer has registered in two easy wins over Malaga and Espanyol and looks a solid bet to open the scoring against his former club.

RECOMMENDATION: P Alcacer to score first

# 1 STRONG PROFILE 2/1

# 6 DALTON DID IT 4/1

# 2 LINCOLN ROAD 7/5

STRONG PROFILE looks great to best this bunch. Heads into this race with competitive TrackMaster class numbers relative to the field of horses - worth a look. Could best this field of horses, just look at the TrackMaster speed fig - 63 - from his most recent outing. A nice win percent has been achieved by entrants coming from the 1 slot. DALTON DID IT - This contender looks very good. Look at the 64 average speed rating. LINCOLN ROAD - Drawing the 2 slot at this track has lead to an above average win stat. Positive instinct - performing well enough to contend in this race.

CONSORTIUM CHOICES

Chatsworth Consortium

# 6 HER NAME IS LOLA 12/1

# 7 POCKET TRIP 2/1

# 3 J CS JAKE 8/1

HER NAME IS LOLA most definitely seems to be the nice horse to beat in this contest and is a formidable value bet given the line at 12/1. Hard to put finger on it, but think about her for this race. With a good 78 TrackMaster Speed Rating last time out, will very likely be a factor in this race. POCKET TRIP - This competition could very well be controlled by this gelding. A single look at the avgerage speed fig will confirm that. That 89 speed rating clocked in the most recent contest puts this harness racer in the mix for this one. J CS JAKE - A very good class horse can't be forgotten. With an average class rating of 87 all signs point to yes.

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 4 LIVVYINTHEFASTLANE 7/2

# 7 FASTEEL 3/1

# 1 ANNIE'S IN CHARGE 6/1

LIVVYINTHEFASTLANE looks to be a decent contender. Stokes has sharp numbers that point to this filly to be a solid contender. Looks solid versus this group and will almost certainly be one of the early speedsters. Earned a strong speed figure in the most recent race. Can run another good one in this race. FASTEEL - Looks competitive to be on or close to the front end at the first call. This filly is a contender based on her earnings per start in dirt route races. ANNIE'S IN CHARGE - Opposing a much softer group than last time out. When Johnson uses Ortiz there's a good chance for sizeable profits.

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 4 PALM ISLAND 6/1

# 3 BOOGIE TOO 7/2

# 1A TUJOES 5/2

PALM ISLAND looks to be a respectable contender. Win percentage under similar conditions may be the key for this gelding. Orseno has this gelding travelling well and is a formidable choice based on the strong speed figs put up in sprint races recently. Can't overlook the connections here, a 21 winning percentage, one of the most competitive at getting into the winner's circle. BOOGIE TOO - Reason to like this gelding as he has in the saddle one of the best jocks using winning percentages over the last month. Will most likely go to the lead and should never look back. TUJOES - Might best this group here, showing competitive figs of late. He has very strong class ratings, averaging 110, and has to be given a shot in here.

Mountaineer - Race #8 - Post: 9:34pm - Claiming - 5.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $7,800 Class Rating: 73

Rating: Golden DollarGolden DollarGolden DollarGolden Dollar

#4 SON OF THE SUBLIME (ML=6/1)
#9 MOBY DIP (ML=8/1)

SON OF THE SUBLIME - Was in a $5,000 Claiming race at Mountaineer in the last race. That race had a class number of 81 and he is moving down today. A certain solid contender. MOBY DIP - Trainer McIntosh moves this horse down the ladder based on class to face weaker company. Look for a sharp effort given this drop. This gelding is in fine form, having run a strong race on September 2nd, finishing third.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 MAJOR ROCK STAR (ML=3/1), #2 K'S BOYWONDER (ML=5/1), #8 FIRE RIDGE (ML=5/1),

MAJOR ROCK STAR - Should have at least finished in the money in the last two months in a sprint race to be worth a shot at short odds in a sprint. K'S BOYWONDER - Don't think this questionable contender has what it takes to win in today's event. FIRE RIDGE - Pedestrian speed fig in the last race at Mountaineer at 5 1/2 furlongs. Don't think this pony will improve too much in today's race.

Suffolk Downs - Race #7 - Post: 3:27pm - Claiming - 8.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $9,000 Class Rating: 89

Rating: Golden DollarGolden DollarGolden DollarGolden Dollar

#5 TAWAARED (ML=6/1)

TAWAARED - This horse could be tough this race, especially since Keiser rode last out and now should be plenty familiar with this one. This horse's last race was out at Suffolk Downs in a race with an Equibase class figure of 98. Dropping a significant amount in class rating today puts him in a solid position today.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 TIZ GIANNI (ML=2/1), #1 SILK SPINNER (ML=3/1), #3 HAVE WE MET (ML=8/1),

TIZ GIANNI - This mount hasn't been on the track since August 30th. Not even any morning drills. Difficult to play any horse to turn things around if there is no wager value to taking the risk. SILK SPINNER - Finished second in his most recent race with a common speed figure. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this group. HAVE WE MET - You believe this equine is going to finish first just because he's always close. Just doesn't finish on top frequently.

#5 TAWAARED is going to be the play if we are getting 1/1 or better

Race 8 - $10,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: HERSMAN (5th)

Spot Play: MASTER PINE (1st)

Race 1

(8) MASTER PINE has been better than these, has seen better than these and has beaten better than these. Gets the call despite the post. (5) VICTORY CANDY MAN is too sharp at the present time to overlook and is seemingly the main threat. (6) HOWDY DEWEY has shown some late speed from time to time and can nab a fair share on best.

Race 2

(3) WESTERN FELLA has been racing here, there and everywhere in recent months. Spent too much time uncovered on the rim in last and gets to these with right trip. (2) JUMPIN JACK J has gone well this level and this track in some recent outings. (5) AT DAYBREAK won last, ships back and has the late rally to nail tiring speed if things go his way.

Race 3

(1) CALLING A VICTORY roared home in last to notch a victory and gets nod to get another. (2) FULL FORCE was a beaten favorite in last and can atone on best. (4) NORDIC VENTURE had the good trip in last but was a bit short at the wire. Faces slightly weaker and that may be enough.

Race 4

(1) HALLIN was a beaten favorite in last despite a great pocket trip from the rail. Looks familiar but he faces slightly weaker and should be tighter tonight. In other words, no excuses accepted. (2) BAY SHARK came uncovered, loomed heading home but flattened out in last week's action. (8) HOT CYCLE has closed strongly three of last four and can be dangerous with a covered trip.

Race 5

(1) HERSMAN won two back this level, toured the track in last facing better. Drops back and draws the rail. (3) GEM HEIST has been banging at the door and drops down looking for the score. (5) ALLAMERICAN MAJOR fits competitively versus these and has three straight third places finishes on his slate. Will be looking to pay a few bills and give it his best.

Race 6

(5) ANNIES ROCKETMAN was nipped late two back over this track facing this kind. Won out of town and comes back looking to take another. (8) MYTHICAL HALL has been battling hard this level in recent days and the post doesn't seem to matter. (1) EDIT has speed and the rail.

Race 7

(4) MIDNIGHT DRAGON showed improvement in last and takes a modest drop in company. (3) DANNYS MAN won versus weaker two back, went evenly versus better in last. (9) ROYAL CAM HALL has a win from this post two back and earns long look in here.

Race 8

(4) THE CLASSIC Z TAM folded in last, drops back down to much easier level looking for another win before form spree fades out. (3) COLUMBIA ART has been faring well versus this kind. (1) BEEEYOUUUUUU has speed, the rail and two wins last three efforts. Ships back looking to nail a win.

Race 9

(2) MARYS DARVIN just missed two back this level. Faced better in last picking up minor spoils. Will be hard to deny this evening. (3) CABO was wide into the lane in last but flattened out. She has been sharp enough in all recent to give her a look despite facing somewhat better stock. (8) EDOM UP BLUE BOY has speed enough to overcome the post and has shown determination setting new life marks last two victorious outings.

Race 10

(1) BETTORS CHOICE has the pole and should be fresher enough heading home to be in the mix at the wire. (2) LITE ME UP had the trip in last and was second best. Has been sharp since return and earns long look in tonight's adventure. (8) BEANS AND WEANIES has been too sharp all of recent to ignore tonight despite the post.

Race 11

(5) TRUE TO MACH fits like a glove over these as he drops down looking for the score. (7) T RED was a huge winner in last two and has to be considered the one to fear. (8) FOX RIVER MARK is hurt by the post but will be a threat throughout.

Race 12

(2) SHARP ACTION wired weaker two back but was used hard at the start in last to clear the lead before tiring. From the inside he is the one to beat. (6) MISS LULU BELLE has faced better in all recent with some tough trips and is the one to fear. (4) VIEWLANDER has to be considered at this level.

Race 13

(3) ROCK ME PLEASE ships in from Yonkers where he has been facing much better foes. (7) THE UNSUB will be tough if he makes the lead but the post hurts a bit. (6) CAN REPEAT has been battling last few and can make his presence felt.

Race 14

(6) LISLEA MORAN takes a significant drop in company and his last quarter speed seems to be consistently quicker than all of these. (5) HERE COMES WHITEY has been second best last two and looms as a three-peater in that role. (8) COACH KEN has the late kick to earn a share but faces better and moves out.

Race 15

(6) JEREME ROCKS saw his winning streak snapped in last but by only a neck or so. Gets the nod to find his way back to victory lane. (2) WOW POWER has speed enough to stay close all the way and from the inside post can hardly be tossed out. (1) STEVIE DIAMONDS takes a drop in company and draws the rail and may wake up.

Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: HARPER BLUE CHIP (9th)

Spot Play: MISS SAND CREEK (11th)

Race 1

(7) POCKET TRIP was a winner in this class two starts back, is versatile and Goodwin's barn has been terrific this season. (2) THE ONLY ONE has been much better in his lat two, draws inside and gets Waples. (9) RAMZAM has been consistent all season despite what class he's in. He comes from the Moreau barn and is a good option for the triactor.

Race 2

(3) PIERCE HANOVER comes out of the Metro final, draws inside and should be a top candidate in this easier field. (4) THE SPY was a recent winner for Gillis and will look to double up. (5) ROBERT HILL comes from the Alagna barn, was an open length winner last week and looks like he has more left to offer.

Race 3

(5) MAXIMUSCLE has won seven of 10 this season, gets Jamieson and may offer a fair price. (6) MUSCLE MATTERS hasn't won yet this season, but has finished fifth in seven starts. (9) JITTERBUG has a good record this season and is a good candidate for the triactor. Expect a nice price from an outside post nine start.

Race 4

(3) KONA KID raced in the Champlain Stakes last week and drops in class. He draws inside and shows quick speed for this class. (6) BALLYBUNION was a closing third last week in his second career start. He continues to improve, offers quick final quarter speed and draws much better. (4) ARTFUL WAY may offer a price once again, but he's been very consistent this season and comes from the McIntosh barn.

Race 5

(3) PAPER BACKED LINDY has been a much better horse in the past few starts with MacDonald in the bike. He's hard to overlook even with the jump in class. (6) DOUBLEDOWN GASS was a game second last week, has exceptional gate-speed and has a good record this season. (9) WHEELING N DEALIN drops out of the Preferred class, draws outside and might be overbet.

Race 6

(7) EVEIL DUN CHAMPION has won each of his last three starts and moves onto this circuit. He might offer a price and gets Jamieson in the bike. (8) ARAMBLIN HANOVER was a game second last week in this class. (4) DECISIVE DESTINY draws inside and likely will offer a low price. He's been a beaten favourite in each of his last two, but a good option for the triactor.

Race 7

(1) NORTHERN VICTORY drops out of the Preferred class and gets a much better post. He's versatile and has a winning record this season. (5) DANCEHALL MISTRESS finished second last week in the Preferred and can't be overlooked. (3) WINDSONG GEANT tends to race inconsistently, but finished a game third last week at the Preferred while making a break at the start. If he's on his game, he's a contender.

Race 8

(4) TWIN B IMPRESSIVE gets class relief tonight along with major post relief. He'll likely be the heavy favourite when the gates unfold. (3) WORLD AWAY has been better in his last three, offers all kinds of back class and remains at this level. (1) CURATOR draws inside, has five wins this season and qualified sharply in his latest.

Race 9

(6) HARPER BLUE CHIP looks like the best OSS trotter this season. He's the horse to beat. (7) P L HERCULES has been much better as of late, is versatile and gets Waples in the bike. (9) VERDI comes from the Bax barn and has a good record this season despite no wins. He likely will offer a price form a post nine start.

Race 10

(9) KINETIC KING exploded last week en route to a second place effort. He just missed for the win and remains at this same level. (2) MMS LUCKY BOY draws inside for a change and was a winner last week at this level. (5) CHARLIE IS A JOKER is a recent addition to the Baillargeon barn and the veteran has been much better as of late. He draws well and likely will offer a short price.

Race 11

(3) MISS SAND CREEK has been much better in her last few starts, draws well and has some back class to offer. (7) PUTMEINTOGO made a miscue last start for new trainer Boyd and will look to rebound. (1) PALM PATROL draws inside, comes from the Auciello barn and may offer a fair price.

MEET STATS: 279 - 816 / $1412.00 BEST BETS: 49 - 67 / $156.70

Best Bet: MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT (6th)

Spot Play: CAROBBEAN PACETRY (10th)

Race 1

(6) MILITARY STRATCOM showed serious flashes of his former self last out and he can come right back for another. (1) JOLLY JUBITER was reclaimed by Robertson; throw out that last line and he's ok. (2) JUST THAT doesn't win but he should be close from this spot.

Race 2

(1) LETTUCEROCKU A was rebuffed last out versus better; veteran has been pretty decent lately and he should find a way to get the job done from this spot. (3) TWIN B HOLLISTER drops in class for Simpson and he was a winner when last in with these. (2) AVENUE HANOVER is very good when he's right, which unfortunately isn't that often.

Race 3

(2) AMERICAN ALIVE took all the money in her debut for Garcia-Herrera and broke while clearing the lead; ignore that 15-1 morning line and give her another chance. (7) FIE FY FO has been facing some good ones in Pennsylvania. (3) MYDELIGHT BLUECHIP can be close up and land a small share.

Race 4

(4) NOWERLAND FIREBIRD drops back to the level of the claim two back off a no-chance effort. (6) GO JESSE GO jogged in his last two races at this level but he has to overcome an outside draw tonight. (2) NF SOARING takes a needed drop in class and he can show more.

Race 5

(3) NEW SCENT hit town and won as the lukewarm favorite; why not again? (2) DO IT FOR ANNIE can be a big speed threat from this spot. (4) STARBUX EDEN flashed speed upstate and appears to be well-mannered.

Race 6

(2) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT bumped up in class last week off the claim and was overmatched; he double-drops to a level where he's taken three straight. (1) TOUCHDOWN MINDALE will be close up from this spot, perhaps even in the pocket. (6) UF BETTORS HANOVER ships in for Brainard; instant respect.

Race 7

(5) SKY ARTIST raced pretty well in her last few NYSS tests and the filly should fit nicely in here. (1) ROCKNROLL MEG finally gets some post relief and she looms a big threat from this spot. (4) TECH TIRADE gets Brennan and has been flashing speed at Pocono.

Race 8

(2) SUPLEMENTAL INCOME took back last week and was too far back to threaten; she'll be more aggrssively handled tonight. (7) JUST ADD VODKA and (8) UP FRONT ELIZABETH have both been flashing speed in NYSS events and either can be considered to spice up the exotics.

Race 9

(7) PAMS LEGACY is in career form and is too sharp to pick against. (1) JOHNNY Z gets lucky with another good draw and the veteran will be right there at the wire. (3) WHOLLY LOUY is another game oldtimer who just went over the million mark in earnings; threat.

Race 10

(3) CAROBBEAN PACETRY is back at Yonkers and is reunited with Dube; lots to like from this spot. (2) IDEAL A LITTLE debuts for Burke off a less than exciting qualifier. (4) CRAZY EIGHTS gets some post relief and should be involved at some point.

Race 11

(1) CANDY STASH hit town and jogged; filly can come right back for another. (2) QUIKWIT has raced well since arriving but he needs to be closer early. (4) MOVEUP makes his second start for the Stratton brothers; maybe he shows more.

Race 12

(4) SILOUETTE looked completely disinterested last out when facing better; Bartlett drives again and she can be better tonight. (5) INSIDE THE GLASS ships from Monti off a nice win in the county fair final. (7) WITHMEWITHOUTME is still a maiden and that may continue tonight but she should be able to hit the ticket.
