KEY STAT: Swansea have lost four of their five trips to top-six sides

EXPERT VERDICT: Swansea have enjoyed a fine campaign but they could come unstuck against the fast-starting Gunners. Arsenal have led at half-time and full-time in eight of their last nine at home – the exception a 0-0 draw with Chelsea – and Arsene Wenger won’t allow any slacking off as a top-three finish is a big incentive.

RECOMMENDATION: Arsenal-Arsenal double result

KEY STAT: Swindon have kept one clean sheet in their last 11 matches

EXPERT VERDICT: It’s advantage Swindon after their playoff first leg as the Robins grabbed a last-gasp winner, but there is still plenty of potential for drama at the County Ground. Swindon are much better going forward than they are defensively and Sheffield United can at least notch even if it is not enough to reach Wembley.

RECOMMENDATION: Both teams to score

KEY STAT: Torino have lost only one of their last 11 away matches in Serie A

EXPERT VERDICT: Genoa have won four of their last six league matches, including a 3-1 victory at Milan and three straight home wins. They face an obdurate Torino side who were poor against Empoli last time out but tend to be hard to beat away from home. Genoa's superior firepower should prove decisive but they may need to be patient.

RECOMMENDATION: Draw-Genoa double result

PRESS BOX: Blackhawks' Rundblad to replace Rozsival
By THE SPORTS XCHANGE

Defenseman David Rundblad will take the place of the injured Michal Rozsival when the Chicago Blackhawks open the Western Conference finals.

Rozsival will miss the remainder of the Stanley Cup playoffs after he fractured his left ankle in Game 4 of Thursday night's Western Conference second-round series against the Minnesota Wild.

The Blackhawks beat the Wild 4-3 to complete a sweep and advance to the Western Conference finals for the fifth time in seven years. The Blackhawks await the winner of the series between Anaheim and Calgary.

The 24-year-old Rundblad has never appeared in an NHL playoff game. During the regular season, he skated in 49 games, averaging 12:48 minutes, with three goals, 11 assists and a plus-17 rating.

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville would not reveal how much ice time Rundblad will get.

"He's going to come in and play, and minutes are dictated by how he plays and how the score of the game goes," Quenneville said. "Other guys are accustomed to playing significant minutes. Every game's gonna be different, but his play and the game and the score will play a lot into it."

Rozsival was injured with 13:23 remaining in Thursday night's game after falling awkwardly. He was unable to put weight on his left leg and needed to be helped off the ice and to the locker room.

NBA

Golden State Warriors forward Marreese Speights underwent an MRI Sunday that revealed a moderate right calf strain.

Speights' official injury status will be listed as "out," and the team said he will be reevaluated in one week.

The injury occurred Saturday night during the fourth quarter of Game 3 of Golden State's Western Conference semifinals series against the Memphis Grizzlies, who won 99-89 to take a 2-1 lead. Game 4 will be Monday night in Memphis.

Speights hopped to the sideline during a timeout and went walked gingerly to the locker room. He finished with nine points and one rebound. He averaged 10.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 76 games during the regular season.

---Chicago Bulls forward Pau Gasol missed Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers because of a strained left hamstring.

Gasol, 34, sustained the injury Friday night during Chicago's 99-96 victory in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinal playoff series. His status is day-to-day, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game.

AUTO RACING

Six former champions are among the drivers named to the entries filed for the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 24.

Thirty-three drivers have been named for the 34 entries announced Sunday. Chevrolet and Honda engines will each power 17 entries in the race, which will mark the debut of superspeedway aerodynamic bodywork produced by the engine manufacturers.

The former Indianapolis 500 champions entered are: Ryan Hunter-Reay (2014) of Andretti Autosport; Tony Kanaan (2013) and Scott Dixon (2008) of Chip Ganassi Racing; Helio Castroneves (2001, 2002, 2009) and Juan Pablo Montoya (2000) of Team Penske; and Buddy Lazier (1996) of Lazier Racing Partners.

Castroneves hopes to join an exclusive club this year -- four-time winners of the Indy 500. He is attempting to become the fourth four-time winner of the race, joining A.J. Foyt (1961, 1964, 1967, 1977), Al Unser (1970, 1971, 1978, 1987) and Rick Mears (1979, 1984, 1988, 1991).

In addition to the six past Indianapolis 500 race winners and seven IndyCar champions, 20 drivers entered have won at least one race in IndyCar competition, including Will Power, who won the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday.

NBA Preview: Warriors (67-15) at Grizzlies (55-27)

Date: May 11, 2015 9:30 PM EDT

In a span of five troublesome days, the Golden State Warriors have gone from a seemingly unbeatable top seed to one that coach Steve Kerr says is going through a learning process against the Memphis Grizzlies.

With Stephen Curry taking it upon himself to play better, the Warriors will try to avoid both their longest losing streak in more than 17 months and falling into a 3-1 series hole Monday night at the FedEx Forum.

Golden State won a franchise-record 67 regular-season games and five straight to begin the playoffs, but now the NBA's best team is hoping to regroup from only its third back-to-back defeats since January.

'It's not a must win, but it's pretty freaking close,' guard Klay Thompson said following Saturday's 99-89 loss.

The Warriors haven't resembled the club that averaged an NBA-high 110.0 points and shot a league-best 39.8 percent from 3-point range during the season. They've scored 89.5 per game while missing 20 of 26 from 3 in each of the last two.

Golden State shot less than 44.0 percent overall in consecutive contests for only the second time all season. The squad is also committing 17.7 turnovers per game in this series after getting outscored 22-7 off giveaways in Game 3.

The Warriors have yet to drop three in a row under Kerr, and the last time they had such a skid was Nov. 20-23, 2013.

'They're learning,' the first-year coach said. 'It's part of the process. You see teams go through this all the time in the playoffs. It's the only way to figure it out, to go through the pain of losing a game like (Saturday).'

Although Thompson had his best game of the series with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting, the Grizzlies continue to do an outstanding job defending his backcourt mate. Curry finished with a game-high 23 points but was 2 of 10 outside the arc.

The league MVP is averaging 21.3 points on 39.7 percent shooting - including 8 of 29 from 3-point range - in the series after scoring 33.8 per game while hitting 20 of 48 from long range versus New Orleans. He went a combined 3 for 10 while missing all four 3-point attempts when either Mike Conley or Courtney Lee was guarding him in Game 3.

Tony Allen has also keyed the defensive effort with 16 steals over his past four games after swiping four more Saturday.

'I have to play better for us to win games, especially on the road,' Curry said. 'I hold myself to a high standard. I haven't reached it yet. So looking forward to the challenge of getting to that level in Game 4, setting the tone and (it) could be a different outcome.'

Curry, however, won't have a say in slowing the Grizzlies' frontcourt after Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph finished with a combined 43 points and 23 rebounds in Game 3. Gasol, who had a playoff-high 15 boards Saturday, is averaging 21.5 points in his last six games, while Randolph has scored 19.5 per game in the series.

After Memphis outscored them 46-32 in the paint and owned a 44-39 edge on the boards in Game 3, the Warriors will be missing Marreese Speights. The reserve forward will be re-evaluated in one week after suffering a strained calf.

The Grizzlies are trying to take out the No. 1 seed for the third time in their five-year playoff run as they try to reach their second conference final in three years. They're 5-0 when Conley plays this postseason and 4-0 at home.

'We know what's at stake,' center Kosta Koufos said. '(The Warriors) are a very good team. They can come back no matter what lead we have."

NBA Game of the Day: Monday's NBA Playoff action

Atlanta Hawks at Washington Wizards (+4.5, 199)
Wizards lead series 2-1

Paul Pierce just won’t let Washington lose and the Wizards are in position to take a 3-1 lead when they host the top-seeded Atlanta Hawks in Monday’s Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Pierce banked in a jumper at the buzzer to give Washington a 103-101 victory on Saturday and the fifth-seeded Wizards now have a chance to take a commanding lead.

Pierce’s heroics were timely as Washington knows it won’t have John Wall (broken left hand and wrist) for the remainder of the series. But the mantra for the squad has been that it will be able to overcome the loss of the standpoint point guard. “We don’t have a choice,” shooting guard Bradley Beal told reporters. “We can sit here and make excuses or we can go out and prove people wrong.” Atlanta power forward Paul Millsap struggled in Game 3 with just eight points and two rebounds while plagued with flu-like symptoms and is just 14-of-39 shooting in the series.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, TNT

LINE HISTORY: Oddsmakers initially opened the Wiz as 3-point dogs, but that's been adjusted to +4.5.

INJURY REPORT: Atlanta - T. Sefelosha (out for season). Washington - J. Wall (questionable)

ABOUT THE HAWKS: Small forward DeMarre Carroll has been Atlanta’s top player in the series and is also considered one of its top defensive players so his absence was conspicuous on Pierce’s game-winning shot. Immediately after the contest, Carroll said he wasn’t physically able to play at the time and then backtracked on those comments the next day, while coach Mike Budenholzer was insisting he went with the best group to get a stop. “I know a lot of people are going to say a lot of things because I’m supposed to be the top defender on the team, but I guess y’all can talk to Coach and he can answer the rest of the questions,” Carroll told reporters.

ABOUT THE WIZARDS: Washington led by 21 points with under 10 minutes to play in Game 3 before seeing the lead evaporate and then needing Pierce to hit one of his customary clutch shots. “Took my time. You know, wanted to make sure I got the shot off with no time on the clock,” Pierce told reporters. “I’ve been in those situations many times.” The Wizards are hoping power forward Nene will continue to play like he did in Game 3 – 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting – as opposed to the poor showings in the first two games when he missed all nine of his field-goal attempts.

TRENDS:

*Wizards are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
*Over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings.
*Hawks are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
*Hawks are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.

Golden State Warriors at Memphis Grizzlies (+5, 196)
Grizzlies lead series 2-1

The Memphis Grizzlies are hounding the Golden State shooters and seek their third consecutive victory when they host the Warriors in Monday’s Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. Memphis has won the past two games with tenacious defense and has held Golden State to an average of 89.5 points during the stretch.

Memphis posted a 99-89 victory in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead and held the Warriors to 6-of-26 shooting from 3-point range and swingman Tony Allen promises the approach will be the same in Game 4. “Why would we change anything? I don’t think we should change nothing,” Allen told reporters. “We need to play how we’ve been playing, the way that got us this notoriety – the reason why all these cameras are in my face now.” Golden State posted 67 wins in the regular season and is now facing its largest dose of adversity. “This is kind of our moment of truth,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters. “You have to learn in the postseason.”

TV: 9:30 p.m. ET, TNT

LINE HISTORY: There hasn't been any line moves in this matchup as of this writing.

INJURY REPORT: Golden State - O. Kuzmic (questionable), M. Speights (doubtful). Memphis - None.

ABOUT THE WARRIORS: NBA MVP Stephen Curry is among the struggling Golden State players and he’s only 4-of-21 from 3-point range over the last two games. “I hold myself to a high standard and I haven’t reached it yet,” Curry told reporters. “So looking forward to the challenge of getting that level in Game 4, setting the tone and it could be a different outcome.” Backcourt mate Klay Thompson had his best performance of the series with 20 points and eight rebounds in Game 3 but missed three of four free throws, including two crucial misses that hindered a fourth-quarter rally attempt.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES: Power forward Zach Randolph and center Marc Gasol are operating at will in the interior and combined for 43 points and 23 rebounds in the Game 3 victory. Randolph has three consecutive 20-point outings in the series after failing to record one in the first round against Portland while Gasol had his second 21-point performance of the series on Saturday and is averaging 10 rebounds. “We might not play great or we might not make the shot or we might make mistakes or we might get really slow,” Gasol told reporters. “But we’re going to stay in the moment.”

TRENDS:

*Grizzlies are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
*Warriors are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
*Under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.
*Under is 23-3 in Grizzlies last 26 home games.

Warriors' Speights will not play in Game 4
Stephen Campbell

Golden State Warriors big man Marreesse Speights will not participate in Monday's Game 4 of the Conference Semifinals versus Memphis, the team announced Sunday.

Speights suffered a moderate right calf strain in Game 3 and will be re-evaluated in one week.

The Dubs, who are in a 2-1 hole, are currently 5-point favorites for the tilt.

Wall has multiple fractures in left hand/wrist; is probably out for rest of series. Hawks bench shot 7-20/ 7-15/18-33, as subs got them back in game after they were down 13 at half in Game 3; they also got to line 29 times, most in series so far. Over is 8-6 so far in this round of playoffs, 2-1 in this series; hosts are 6-7-1 vs spread. Washington won Game 3 even with their starting guards shooting 8-25 from the floor. Washington is 3-4 in its last seven games vs Atlanta; nine of last 11 series games went over total. Eight of last ten Wizard games went over total.

Four Memphis subs were combined +52 in Game 3 win, as Warriors scored under 40 points in first half for second game in row- they scored less than 40 in first half once during regular season. Playoff games are a grind; Warriors are 6-28/6-26 from arc last two games- they turned ball over 37 times last two games. Golden State is 2-8 vs spread in last ten games. Memphis is 6-2 SU in playoffs. Seven of last nine series games stayed under the total, including all three in this playoff series. Conley is a "warrior" by the way, playing 33:00 in Game 3 with a broken face.

Feel pretty confident putting some green stuff down on CROSBYS CLAM BAKE. Is a substantial choice given the 95 speed rating from his most recent contest. Always excellent driver-trainer twosome. 20 percent winners when they team up to do work. Tough to pass on this gelding with experienced Hall in the race bike. Major player for the score. TRUSTWORTHY KID - He's battling in fine form, recording very promising speed figures. An excellent selection. This standardbred earned a nice TrackMaster Speed Rating last out. Looks sharp to come right back. LADY'S DUDE - This race horse will be greatly helped with Palone driving. 25 percent winners the past month. Many harness players strongly consider this gelding on the driver-handler rankings alone.

NOT BEFORE EIGHT figures to be our best wagering option in this affair. Positive feeling - racing well enough to contend in this affair. Overall figures appear very good. Can't throw out at this point. Can't ignore based on TrackMaster speed figs which have been exemplary (86 avg) within the recent past. POP THE TAGS - Composite pace ratings say this outing should shape up nicely for this filly. Looking for a big effort. Always strong driver/trainer partnership. 20 percent winners when they team up to do work. MYDELIGHT BLUECHIP - When Horowitz sends this standardbred out you can bet they'll be in the money, statistics show them there 61 percent of the time.

# 5 NOT A WALLFLOWER 6/1

BUDDAH'S DELIGHT looks competitive to best this field. Has performed admirably lately in sprint races, posting a nifty 83 avg speed figure. Could best this group of animals based on the speed figure - 85 - of her last race. Shows solid speed figs on average overall when matched with the rest of this group of horses. HONEST DESIRE - The speed fig of 89 from her latest race looks very good in here. Has a very solid shot here if you like back class. NOT A WALLFLOWER - Has strong early pace and will most likely fare very well versus this field. One of the most competitive win percentages between this jock and handler make this filly dangerous.

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 1 KANSAS CORONA 7/2

# 4 SHAKEN PAPPASITO 6/1

# 7 CARTEL GIGI 8/1

My pick for this event is KANSAS CORONA. Garnered a solid Equibase Speed Figure in the most recent race. Can run another good one in this race. Ought to be given a chance here on the basis of the figs in the speed realm alone. Solid selection to take this race going in a short. SHAKEN PAPPASITO - Has run admirably when running a short race. One of the best win percentages between this rider and conditioner make this filly dangerous. CARTEL GIGI - This filly looks like a play at a price. Has very strong Equibase Class Figures relative to this field - worth a look.

#2 THIS CATS ON FIRE (ML=5/1)

THIS CATS ON FIRE - She'll be laying in perfect position, right behind the early speed. To play a racer off drills, you have to know when to tell if a horse is fit. The fact that this mare worked recently at longer distance is a positive angle. A thoroughbred coming back this quickly after a solid outing is a good signal.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 WASTED (ML=6/5), #1 HUNTRESS HELENA (ML=7/5), #4 LADY HENRIETTA (ML=6/1),

WASTED - You figure that this animal is going to win just because she's always close. Just doesn't finish first often. This mare registered a speed fig in her last affair which likely isn't good enough today. HUNTRESS HELENA - This mount will probably be way back as this bunch crosses the finish line. LADY HENRIETTA - The seventh place result in the last race was not the greatest.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - THIS CATS ON FIRE - After a layoff, has had a few races and today she enters a sprint race. Should be back in form, so I expect this thoroughbred to perform well in this event.

#8 CLASSIC ENTRY (ML=5/2)

CLASSIC ENTRY - Nice return on investment for this jockey and handler tandem. After the contest aboard this horse on April 27th, the rider is going to 'know' the filly much better. You have to like that most recent race speed fig, 59, which is the highest recent race speed rating of this group. Ran last time around the track against much better company at Thistledown. The move to a lower class rank should suit her well.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 MORE ALLURE (ML=7/2), #3 CRAZY GIULIA (ML=4/1), #4 EXPRESS STREET (ML=6/1),

MORE ALLURE - 7/2 is not priced right for any thoroughbred in a sprint of 6 furlongs that hasn't finished in the money in a sprint contest of late. Mediocre rating last out at Thistledown at 1 mile. Don't feel this pony will improve too much in today's event. CRAZY GIULIA - Didn't finish in the money on Dec 14th at Los Alamitos (Quarter Hor. Followed it up with another lackluster try. Hard to bet on a steed that lays up for a long time then doesn't finish in the money off the long turnout. EXPRESS STREET - This racer hasn't shown much life in the last couple of races.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - CLASSIC ENTRY - The TrackMaster Power Rating tells me that this mount looks good versus the rest of this field. I'm wagering.

Have to go with #8 CLASSIC ENTRY on the win end if we get at least 1/1 odds
