BOLD SENATOR - Arroyo is back for another event today after racing atop this animal for the first time on Dec 31st and ought to know the ropes to this one a little better. Ran a less than stellar race at Aqueduct in the last race. Racing without the off-track conditions puts this gelding at the top of my list of contenders. CLEARLY PERFECTION - This colt faced open company last time out. Moving into a restricted state bred today. Is well worth a look. Entered last at Parx Racing in a race with an Equibase class figure of 77. Dropping drastically in Equibase class figure today puts him in a solid position in this race.

When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this field. STARTRIPENTERPRISE - 6/1 is not enough of a price to take on this thoroughbred.

Mediocre speed figure last race out at Remington Park at 6 1/2 furlongs. Don't feel this mount will improve too much in today's race.

The winning percentage shown by horses entered by Levine running at this distance are the most competitive in this group of animals. Has been running solidly lately and will probably be on the lead early on. Must be considered a key contender on earnings per start at the distance/surface alone. SABA'S BOY - Looks very good versus this group of horses and should be one of the front-runners. FRENEMY - Exhibits the look of a profitable play, averaging a solid 85 speed rating which is one of the most competitive in this group of animals. Must be carefully examined given the class of races run as of late.

SABA'S BOY - Taking a class drop in class rating points from his January 5th race at Parx Racing. Based on that knowledge, I will give this thoroughbred the edge. Look for this gelding to run much better today. Last event at Parx Racing finishing fifth on a track listed as good is no sign of his true talent. LAWYER DAVE - This gelding is a gem of consistency, almost always on the board. You have to really like that most recent race speed fig, 87, which is the best latest race speed fig of this field. This animal has increased his speed ratings from a fig of 74 to 82 to 87 in succession. GEORGE CROSS - Was in an Allowance race at Meadowlands last time around the track. That affair had an Equibase class figure of 90 and he is moving down today. A certain strong challenger. ECHO FLAT OUT - You always have to be on the prowl for revenue generating rider/trainer combos; we have an instance right here. I believe the addition of blinks today will help this gelding focus his attention on racing.
