NBA | Spurs vs Bulls
Play on: Bulls +6 -105 at 5Dimes
10* FREE NBA PICK (Bulls +6)
I'll take my chances here with Chicago as a decently priced home dog against the Spurs on Monday. I just think this is a tough spot for San Antonio, who is coming off a crushing 135-129 loss at Milwaukee, where they blew an 11-point lead in the 4th quarter. Now it's to Chicago for their 3rd road game in the last 4 days and 6th game overall in the last 9 days. While the Bulls are also playing for the 3rd time in 4 days, they have only had to leave Chicago once in their last 4 and that was a short trip to Minnesota. Injuries have really kept the Bulls from playing to their potential, but I expect a big effort here and this is just too many points to pass up. Spurs are 3-7 SU on the road this season and a mere 1-9 ATS last 10 road games when they come in having covered 2 or more in a row. Give me Chicago +6!

NBA | Magic vs Warriors
Play on: Magic +8 -103 at BMaker
This play just missed out on our premium card. The Orlando Magic and the Golden State Warriors face off on Monday and in this game the underdog is the play.
The Warriors have had all kinds of issue covering the spread as of late. In the last ten games they have only covered two spreads.
Compare that to the Magic who have covered seven of the last ten games they have played in. The Magic are coming into this game off a win over the Lakers and eight points is just too many.
Back the Magic +8

Monday's comp play is the Under in the Tennessee-Houston game.
Last week we had a track-meet of a game, as Kansas City and Los Angeles posted 105 combined points, but if you are expecting a repeat tonight, you've turned on the wrong contest.
Both teams have solid defenses, as aside from last week's 38 point allowance, the Titans had allowed 21 points or less in 5 straight and 8 of their previous 9. The Under for the season is 7-3 for Tennessee, and they are averaging just over 16 points per game on the road this season.
Houston has allowed only 16 points per game over their last 6 games, and 4 of those 6 have held Under the total.
These teams played Under the total back on Week Two, as Tennessee won the first meeting, 20-17. They have played 2 in a row and 3 of their last 4 series meetings Under the total.
After a massive output of offense last Monday night, I am looking for this Monday night game to be a little more defensive-minded.
Play Tennessee-Houston Under the total.

Richard Pitino's Golden Gophers have been golden (5-0 straight up) so far, and I like them to stay golden after their Big Ten/ACC Challenge meeting in Chestnut Hill this Monday night.
The Gophers 5-0 mark has not really been padded with "cupcakes" either, as they have already handled their business against a pair of teams from the Pac 12 in Washington and Utah, and one from the Big 12 in Texas A&M. Those victories helped Minny capture the Vancouver Showcase.
The Eagles rebounded from their 76-69 home loss to IUPUI with a pair of wins of Wyoming and more notably Loyola of Chicago to win the Fort Myers Tip-Off Challenge, but BC has dropped each of their last 4 games played against the Big Ten Conference.
Jordan Murphy and Amir Coffey have been playing the steady basketball you would expect from upper-classmen, and Pitino is also seeing immediate dividends from the 2 freshman - Daniel Oturu, and Gabe Kalscheur - recruits. Kalschuer hitting a contested go-ahead 3-ball with just over 2 seconds remaining to sink the Huskies.
Boston College is led by Ky Bowman, but the 6'1'' guard is going to have his hands full with Minnesota's taller back-court for the full 40 minutes tonight.
Minnesota started the season 6-0 last year, but faded badly to a 15-17 mark. That fade put Pitino on the "hot seat", but give him credit for not ducking tough foes early on this season and getting his team off to that 5-0 start.
It's tough to win away from home, but to me Minnesota appears to be a little further along than Boston College. The Eagles could be in a letdown spot after dumping last year's Final Four darlings, the Ramblers from Loyola of Chicago.
I will play the Golden Gophers tonight.

My Bonus Play for tonight is on the Minnesota Golden Gophers against the Boston College Eagles in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
The Gophers arrive in Beantown after a 3-0 trip to the TCL Vancouver Showcase, earning wins over Texas A&M (Big 12), Santa Clara (West Coast) and Washington (Pac 12). It marks the second straight year the Gophers have gone undefeated in an MTE event, after sweeping through the 2017 Barclays Center Classic.
I like the balance with this team right now, as we've seen four out of the Gophers starting five averaging double figure scoring through five games, including 10 or more points from the entire quintet on Nov. 12 against Utah.
And while I know Boston College is 4-1 on the season after winning its last two games, including a 78-66 victory over Loyola Chicago in the Fort Myers Classic championship game, the lone loss by this team came at the hands of IUPUI, 76-69, on Nov. 14 in Chestnut Hill.
A home loss, to IUPUI. Not a good look.
And since Minnesota has dropped two in a row after winning five straight Challenge games, I think the better team here - the Golden Gophers - grab the cash tonight.

My free winner for Monday night is on the Gonzaga Bulldogs minus the big number against North Dakota State. Don't you worry here, Gonzaga will win this one by at least four touchdowns.
As the debate continues whether or not Gonzaga should leapfrog Kansas for the No. 1 spot after beating Duke last week, the Bulldogs can't worry about what will happen hours before entertaining North Dakota State.
What I do know is the Zags have impressive wins over four power-conference programs, and while some may say Texas A&M, Illinois and Arizona aren’t as strong as they’ve been traditionally, the RPI from the conferences alone early on are strong enough for me to lay a big number.
I mean, the Bison - picked fifth in the nine-team Summit League - arrive in Spokane after an 18-point loss to East Tennessee State. At just 2-4, North Dakota State is a team that appears to live and die by the 3-pointer.
Rocky Kreuser, Tyree Eady and Jared Samuelson have combined for 33 3-pointers, with shooting percentages between 44 and 48. And 10 of the 11 players to see action have made at least one 3-pointer.
Now this team has to deal with Gonzaga's perimeter defense, and stringent halfcourt sets that will disrupt the Bison in the backcourt logging a ton of air miles over the last 10 days, traveling to the Bahamas for three games, then returning to Fargo and traveling to Johnson City, Tennessee, before flying out to Spokane.
The Zags, who are 96-16 in November games under coach Mark Few, have covered five straight at home and five of their last six against non-conference foes.

Monday's comp play is Over the total in the Bucks and Hornets.
Second meeting this season, as the teams landed Over in a 113-112 Milwaukee win over Charlotte back on October 17th. The total is a lot bigger tonight, but with 4 straight series Overs, and Overs in 7 of the last 9, I have a feeling these Eastern Conference rivals will find a way to land Over the total for a 5th straight series meeting.
The Bucks just played a very high-scoring affair against the Spurs their last time on court, 135-129 being the final number, as Milwaukee made it 7 of their last 9 for the year Over the total. For the season, the Bucks are 14-5 Over the posted price!
The Hornets are also off of a high-scoring game, as they ended up a 124-123 loser last night at Atlanta to make it 4 of their last 5 games played landing Over the total.
Coach Budenholzer's team is number one in the league in scoring, as they enter play tonight with a 121.7 points per game average, while the Hornets are putting the ball through the basket at a 115.1 points per game average.
I know both teams are playing in their third game since Friday, and for Charlotte its a back-to-back situation, so fatigue will play a factor here. I do feel that very little tough defense is going to be played in this start of the week, regular-season affair tonight. Little defense will lead to quick, easy baskets, and a lot of points being scored!
Milwaukee-Charlotte to play Over the total.

My free winner for Monday is on the Houston Rockets, laying the cheap number to the Washington Wizards.
Houston concludes a three-game road trip here, and looks to salvage the junket after losing in Detroit and Cleveland. I won't hold it against the Rockets for losing to the Cavaliers, who caught Houston on the second of back-to-back games after an overtime loss in Detroit.
The Rockets were simply too tired and the Cavaliers took advantage.
Now, with Sunday off to recuperate, I expect Houston to take advantage of a Wizards team that has more problems off the court than they do on it. Washington recently announced it wasn't against trading John Wall and Bradley Beal, which basically means "we're in restructuring mode." Add in the Dwight Howard buffoonery and this team is loaded with distractions.
Tonight, the inconsistent Wizards catch a Rockets team that will be looking to respond to coach Mike D'Antoni calling his team soft after the loss to the Cavaliers. He played a lot of guys a lot of minutes, in that back-to-back, but these are the times you're supposed to show your mettle. Instead, he said the Rockets were mentally and physically soft.
Look for a big game from Chris Paul, who averages 17.9 points and 7.7 assists in 15 games, and will be ready to avenge Saturday's loss. I'm also expecting James Harden to step up in this one, as he's averaging 35.4 points per game in his past five. Harden leads the NBA in scoring, averaging 30 per game, and he averaged 29 points on 59.4 percent shooting against the Wizards last season.
Play the road team here.
