Tonight's comp play release will be on the Over in your Steelers-Buccaneers meeting.
Both teams have some past numbers that trend towards the Under, but this is a new season, and right now you have to go with what your eyeballs tell you, and that is to play this one Over the total.
Both Pittsburgh games have landed Over the total, as the Steelers did just allow 42 points and Over 400 yards to be posted on their defense. While the defense should be better tonight, I still think they will give up some points to the sizzling Ryan Fitzpatrick who already has 8 TD passes to his credit.
Tampa Bay has also landed Over the total in their first 2 games played, and I see no reason to believe we will see a defensive battle break out in this one.
Big Ben has not been able to really "get off" thus far, but tonight looks like the night Roethlisberger matches Fitzpatrick in a game that features some offense being flexed.
Pittsburgh-Tampa Bay Over.

For Monday, let's go with the Pirates and the Cubs to hold under the total with Jameson Taillon and Cole Hamels doing their thing on the hill.
When these teams last met in the middle of August, all 4 games held Under the total. In fact, 8 of the last 10 on the season between the division-rivals have held Under the total.
Taillon is on a 4-0 run over his last 6 starts, and his ERA in that span stands at 1.66.
Hamels did have a bad turn his last time out versus Arizona, but does still sport a 2.42 in his 10 starts with Chicago.
With both hurlers looking sharp, and the series numbers showing a trend towards the Under, go ahead and play the Pirates and Cubs to open on Monday with another Under.
4* PITTSBURGH-CUBS UNDER

For Monday, going to look for the Indians and the White Sox to make their way Over the posted price with Kluber and Covey working the mound.
Kluber is 3-0 with a 1.29 ERA this season when he starts against Chicago, but o note that 8 of Corey Kluber's last 9 road starts this year have landed Over the total.
As for Dylan Covey, he just worked 6 scoreless innings in his last start against the Indians, but for the season sports an over 4 ERA for his work against the Tribe.
I think the quick turnaround for these 2 pitchers facing the batters now twice in less than a week favors the batters.
Play Cleveland and Chicago to land Over this smallish total.
1* CLEVELAND-WHITE SOX OVER

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Bucs, 9/24/18 Predictions & Odds
Anthony Rome

Oddsmakers have set tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup in the mid-50s when the Pittsburgh Steelers clash with the Tampa Bay Bucs at 8:15 p.m. ET. Is the over a safe bet?
Game Snapshot

489 Pittsburgh Steelers at 490 Tampa Bay Bucs

8:15 p.m. ET, Monday, September 24

Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida

Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Bucs are 1-point favorites to beat the Steelers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 54 points. As of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets are on the Bucs to cover the point spread.

Pittsburgh Steelers

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Steelers are now listening to trade offers for holdout RB Le'Veon Bell. They're satisfied with what James Conner has given the offense through two games and are looking to move on from the Bell situation, which has caused major off-field distractions. Bell has shown no intention of wanting to play anytime soon, seemingly more concerned with his musical career than football during the prolonged holdout. Any team interested in trading for Le'Veon would almost certainly want to work out a long-term deal before the move is made, and that creates several different obstacles to work around, including Bell's suspension and injury histories in addition to what's left of his commitment to playing football.

Tampa Bay Bucs

Ryan Fitzpatrick was removed from the Week 3 injury report. The Bucs listed Fitzpatrick with a knee injury earlier in the week, but he practiced fully. Fitzpatrick is our No. 9-ranked quarterback for Monday night's matchup with the Steelers.

NFL Betting Trends

Pittsburgh

The over is 4-0 in the Steelers’ last four games overall.

Tampa Bay

In the Bucs’ last 12 home games, the under is 9-3.

Prediction

Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown for 400 yards and four touchdowns in each of his first two games. He’s also averaging over 13.0 yards per pass attempt, which is incredible. Even if he regresses back to the mean tonight, he’s playing with house money and leading a Tampa Bay offense with a ton of explosiveness on the outside against a Pittsburgh defense that has looked overmatched since linebacker Ryan Shazier went down with his spinal injury last December.

Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger has struggled on the road but he should take advantage of a Bucs defense that doesn’t generate much of a pass rush and is banged-up in the secondary. Even without Le’Veon Bell, this Steelers offense has looked good, out-gaining the Browns and Chiefs in consecutive weeks. This game should live up to its shootout potential.

Tired of the hype and gimmicks? Just need a winner.

Anyone with a tip/tout on Pirates @ Cubs ?? I have a futures wager on Cubs plus 93.5 games. I am on the edge as Cubs win .568 of games overall. That translates to 4.6 games won over next 9.

This is is driving me nuts, as Cubs have 9 games left to play. Anyone have an insight to this stuff ??!! Hey, I need to either stay with this long term wager or maybe make a strategic quick wager on the Cubs or even fade the cubs for insurance.

Okay, as my grandmother used to say, don’t be a “chickenshick” and dance the one “you brung” to the dance. Either gamble or not.

Anybody got something other than my grandmother’s advice ?!?

I have Cubs -160 , GOOD LUCK
