A's +1.5 -120 over Red Sox
Zito/Pedro
Zito is on 3 days rest but as cincy_hugg says, everyone pitches in game 5. The low score will keep it close.

Red Sox at A's UNDER 7.0 -124
Dark Shadows isn't just a vampire show from the 60's. The shadows will play into the pitchers' favor.

Thanks beach. Sometimes it seems like I'm writing to thin air so it's nice to hear that someone actually reads these things.

This A's game won at -120 which was better than the Boston line and the UNDER 7.0 pushed. I'll take it.

Thanks for the info yesterday. I agreed with you and was able to get the better line. And to top it off I wake up this morning and find the colts had pulled off a miracle and won on that moneyline too.

I'm trying to find a reason why I should go with the OVER on this game since I lean toward the UNDER. The only thing I can think of is Zambrano got roughed up a couple games at the end of the season. He pitched a good game last week only giving up 3 earned runs.

Beckett is 2-7 o/u on the road this year.
Beckett has a 3.39 road ERA this year.
Florida is 2-6 o/u in his last 8 starts.

Zambrano is 4-9 o/u at home this year.
Zambrano has a 3.00 home ERA this year.
Chicago is 2-8 o/u in his last 10 starts.

Florida is 3-4 o/u in their last 7 games.
Chicago is 1-6 o/u in their last 7 games.

Now for the intangibles. Zambrano and Beckett are pitching game 1 of this series so both pitchers will be rested and focused. Good pitching trumps good batting. Neither pitcher has a stellar record nor are they the aces for their club but both have decent ERA's with recent records of going under.

Florida at Chicago UNDER 8.0 +108

I was thinking about taking the +1.5 RL again today but they are both at -190 so it's not a bet for me.

Good luck eyez.

The total for this game has moved from 8.0 to 8.5 in some places. Grab it while you can. I noticed it was at 8.5 for a little while last night but didn't think it would go back up.

Always shop for the best price.
