Look who's back! Hey spinster, can you give these NFL people any strong advice on who should be the first two picks of the NFL draft? They must be idiots to think Bush or Leinart can make any sort of an impact in the NFL.
Chargers will be fine with Rivers, but I don't like how this all played out. AJ's ego needs to be put in check. The reality is this team made it to the playoffs two years ago because it played the weakest schedule in the entire NFL, and didn't make it last year because it couldn't hold on to 4th quarter leads. That's not AJ's fault, but the Chargers have needs that should have been addressed this offseason, and right now they have serious problems on the O-line, especially with rumors Oben is not ready to go, and clearly their corner play is abysmal considering the havoc the front 7 create. I'm not sure bringing in a journeyman safety or relying on draft picks to do the job is the right way to go about things, but that is what they appear to be doing.
As for Rivers, they didn't just throw away a pro-bowl QB, they lost their back-up QB. I hope they don't think Feeley is the go-to gy should Rivers go down.

WC, I was on a cruise recently with about 7 Charger players, Hank Bauer, and others. Suffice it to say they were not happy, and it wasn't even official yet at that time. Chargers were supposed to be a team with $$$ to spend this offseason and they haven't done crap except overpay for a FS with 0 Pro Bowls. Hoping they draft Chad Jackson or Santonio Holmes.
As for your Trojan heros, I am still convinced Leinart will be a stiff in the NFL (no athleticism, no arm, and brittle not a good combination). You should know draft is all politics and who will put butts in seats. USC boys will likely go 1,2 but that doesn't mean they should. Give me Ferguson, Williams, Cutler, Hawk over any of them. Lendale White's stock has slipped with everyone realizing what a slug and thug he is. 'Zona would have drafted him and not had to spend on Edge if he had been in shape.
I can't stand Hank Bauer. He makes it hard to be a Charger fan. I'm O.K with the guys you mentioned but we really need some beef. I don't see either of those guys making a huge impact in the NFL....I hear Jackson runs horrible routes. Florida receivers make really bad NFL receivers. I hope they don't choose a corner either. Another crapshoot position. I'm on the best tackle available bandwagon, and maybe one of the huge guards with the second pick. If Jordan starts next year expect Rivers and/or LT to get injured at some point during the season.
I think Williams will be the best player in this draft, but the NFL is a crap shoot, look at Robert Gallery. He was the second coming when he entered the draft and he's a serviceable tackle in the NFL.
And both Leinart and Bush will be future pro-bowlers.
