Mnmike, if they don't want to follow the conduct rules they don't have to attend. Period! You can't act like a jackass whenever and where ever you want. Period!

This wild animal got out of control and the police got her under control! I feel bad for the grads whose names were drowned out by her boorish behavior....but you think she should be able to ruin other people's experiences at the graduation? Wow!

I agree completely, but the only avenue they should have is to ask them to leave, and have police remove them if they refuse, when someone says no clapping at an event it is a request, it does not become law, my point is that the police vastly overstepped their authority.
I'm, not a fan of stupid trailer trash, or ignorant minorities making scenes any more than anyone else, graduation from high school should be an expectation, not a surprising event that merits celebrations.

From Wikipedia:

A typical definition of disorderly conduct defines the offense in these ways:
A person who recklessly, knowingly, or intentionally:

(1) engages in fighting or in tumultuous conduct;
(2) makes unreasonable noise and continues to do so after being asked to stop; or

(3) disrupts a lawful assembly of persons;

Did ANY of her actions amount to any of those things? Is cheering unreasonable, and was she asked to stop? Does cheering violate the rule, but clapping does not? Was the event "disrupted"? I would think not!
