WOW!!!!
This is a very tough card. I have been debating whether or not to pass and simply stick to live racing at the track down the street.

Just for the record - and to say that I never duck a good fight - I am going to TRY and pull a few that I believe will be semi-longshots out of this bag of very good horses. Read through my explanations as it will be complex tonight

Race2: Playing Field
Flight time cash & Star Bonus A should both be tough contenders - can eveen throw in "Golfman". Like I said, not as clear tonight

RACE 3: Two horses stand out marginally here to me- "Grin Tin Tin" and "Gear to Gear". THink I should be Grinning while others will be "gearing up" !

RACE4: Sugar Trader/Power to Charm

These two are my keys. I may want this one sweet. Sugar it is but should be close.

RACE5: Camelot HAll.
This is my best bet tonight. Brandons Cowboy was terrible last outing BUT I think he could be up there with "ThePreacherPan".

Race6: Fools Goal.

This should be a tight one as well.
HP Paque & Abbey Road should be there as well. Could set up a nice exotic.

RACE 8: Amigo Hall
Watch out for "Mutineer" . HAd some work to correct "issues" and is back and in good form. May be a longshot and a good bet. One I have to see.

RACE9: I am a Fool

Good WPS candidate . I like him to win and with the 2 hole he could wire this field early.
Only 2 horses I see being within reach are #3 & #5 Armbro Baylor & Dual Personality.

A very BIG "Good Luck" to all tonight

Did you noice the the "bridge jumper" in race #5 ? Show pool was more than $100000 with a couple of minutes to post on CAMELOT HALL.

Had one winner and three losers.

Bridge jumper??? Not sure what you meant. You said you had one winner & Three losers? WHich horses/races are you talking about?

I know that I watched Sugar Trader get nosed out by a horse that paid a freakin $171 for the win !!!

bridgejumpers are people or groups who wager very large amounts to show in certain races to cash the 2.10 or 2.20 to show and make a few thousand

Bridge Jumper - a person who bets a lot in the show pool. The idea is to make a sure 5% on your bet as the minimum return for a $2 bet (at most tracks) is $2.10. At Mohawk on Saturday the $150000 show bet showed a profit $7500. The show pool ($170948) had several times the amount bet to win ($34476). You have to hit 19 out of 20 to break even. In the early 60s a couple of people jumped off a bridge after losing their bet.

Supermattural - Race #7 - One of the handicappers (Greg ??) had it as his best bet of the night and no other handicapper picked it at all. I also liked the horse and was very suprised when it went off at about 11/1 and wired the field.
Lost on LCB in race #1, Captain Brady - Race # 4, Bidding For Time - race #10.

Just a tough card all around. Not the toughest to pick the winner - it was mostly tough to find that second & third place horse. In order to hit a tri, you had to spend money wheeling - but with the key horse not giving more than 7/5, you really had to be careful or your costs would approach your profit ! I usually put my picks here hours before post so I haven't the luxury of playing that angle on here.

I like both Brady & Bidding for time. Bidding has been a disappointment lately (since his last win) and just hasn't had any late kick. I THOUGHT I might have picked him here but upon looking back I realized that I held off the late races because there were too many challengers. Same said for Brady - just thought he was in above his head.

I agree with the Supermatturel pick. I like that horse but I just wasn't certain of the field he was in. Best to lay off if you start second guessing that early
