Early lean on the Vikings +3. Yes..even with Gus Ferrarte. Or however you spell his name.

Fishhead likes the Vikings, that's all you need to know. He's got a thread here somewhere explaining why, he's probably the top NFL capper on the forum. If not the best he's damned close.

i love minny in this spot

i am not one for dropping big bets, but this game relly stood out to me last week. this will be my biggest bet of the year. looking at buying to 4 and playing moneyline as well.

injuries- push on both sides, i think shockey colston patten and ellis hurt but the big injury might be if berrian or rice cant go, ej henderson will be missed

MINNY ADVANTAGE- i think minny has some great strenths in the interior on both sides the ball. i really think the vikes can contain the run without stacking the box providing xtra coverage in the secondary.

MINNY ADVANTAGE- bush can not run inside that well and the vikes should be in a in a 4-3 one gap technique reading run 1st which should help in holding outside runs in the c gap and stretch. p.thomas has the pwr to hit the a/b gaps but doubt he will be used in this way

MINNY ADVANTAGE- j.allen, has grt pwr and speed and any screens or dumps on his side he has ability to adjust and shut it dwn. j. brown is a good tackle but i think allen has a big game

SAINTS ADVANTAGE- it all sits in the middle of the field with passing, if they can work behind minnys lb's they want need to run. brees is a good qb and if the o-line holds up b/c minny pulls back pressure with overloads and shooting the a gaps on blitzing. vikes are toast

peterson shines monday nite, anything less than 160 total yards and 2 scores will surprise me... minny is built to hang in any game and thats all i ask for 2mar, if they get dwn early, bye bye minny

GO VIKES- AND TO THINK IM A PACKER FAN AND I HATE PETERSON.... but gotta lay my money on who i think is a better team in the matchup

good luck to any viking backers

Welcome back Brian McKinney. Adrian Peterson and this offense have been missing you big time. This game is just a TERRIBLE match-up for the Saints. Offensively the Saints are going to be in trouble, they are missing 3 key receivers (Shockey, Colston, Patten), and I don’t think they’ll be able to move the ball with Minnesota’s suffocating Run D. On the flipside of the ball, New Orleans defense is terrible. How they are going to stop Adrian Peterson, now that he’s getting his LT back is beyond me. Even Gus Frerotte will hook up with Berrian on at least 1 deep ball, and that’ll be enough to seal the deal for the Vikings. Minnesota covers here, and probably wins this thing outright.

My sources say Berrian goes. And Mckinney is back from Suspension, not INJURY. So he'll be at 100%

The only thing that scares me about this game, is that the N.O home field advantage factor. They are a much different team at home.

I don't understand how people keep saying this is so lopsided for the Saints. Every week we hear how Shockey and Colston are out so they will struggle, and yet every week they manage to put up 20+ points. They lead the league in longest passing plays even without Shockey and/or Colston. Drew Brees is going to pick apart the Vikings secondary. Having EJ Henderson their leading tackler out is also huge.

Minnesota's offense has 9 redzone possessions with 2 TDs and 6 FGs, LOWEST TD % in the NFL. Saints defense has had 18 redzone possessions allowed with 6 TDs and 8 FGs, tied for 8th-lowest TD % in the NFL. Conversely, the Saints' offense has 7 TDs in 10 redzone possessions, 5th overall in TD % and Minnesota's defense has allowed 7 TDs in 11 redzone possessions, 25th-lowest TD %.

If the Saints can take an early lead the Vikings will be forced to pass. They have yet to score more than 20 points in a game this season and Saints have yet to score less than 24.The Saints run D is not that good, especially with Ellis out. Peterson will still get his yards but if they can control him enough to be able to get out to an early lead this game will be put away fast and it won't matter how many yards Peterson gets.

This scenario is all too familiar of Saints vs Jaguars a season or 2 ago. The Jags were coming in with a physical D and very good running game, with a mediocre QB and no one gave the Saints much of a chance. Saints ended up blowing them out and putting up 40+ on them. I could see the Saints easily winning this with an early lead.
