I have been following this site since the NFL season started. There are a few good - superb handicappers on here from what I've seen (ie. thecruncher, AceAce, Brooklynworm ...... to mention a few) I am hovering around 70% winners on my NFL spreads, which I will not claim cause this is my first thread. With that said.............

First off, this is an easy game to cap IMO. Both teams are coming off a loss and are in different positions in their respective divisions. Denver is on top of their division and really don't need this game (only thing that REALLY scares me). New England is sandwiched in between Buffalo and the Jets... in definitely need a win.

The obvious indicator in this matchup is what defense will the Broncos face. Denver has put up large points against sub-par and mediocre defense (Oakland, New Orleans and even San Diego). There let down in Kansas City was just that.... a let down or trap game, if you will. Tampa Bay is the best defense they've faced and Jacksonville was in a 'must-win' situation with personnel to get the job done defensively.

I can list numerous reasons why the Patriots will not be able to contain Cutler, Marshall, Royal etc. Let's just say, old LB's and a below average secondary won't get it done. New England will get their share of points but not enough. I don't think this game will be close.

Also, what better place/time for Jay Cutler to back up his ridiculous statement about having a stronger arm then Elway?

NUFF SAID

Score prediction: Den 38 NE 20

Denver +3
Money Line : Denver
Team Total : *** Denver OVER 22 1/2 (Bookmaker) *** EASY MONEY

GL TO ALL!!

Welcome to the circus. I'm not very excited about this game-both teams are overrated & honestly not playing that well right now.

I took a small shot at the u48.5

Thank you for the warm welcome!:howdy:

I think the public feels New England will come out running so their high school QB can be masked. Oh the contrary! Billichick is a 'maverick'. He will try to prove, to a fault IMO, that Matt IS a NFL QB. I think New England will score a couple touchdowns, maybe 3. Only problem is, they have been ineffective running the ball (3.8 ypc rushing w/ a long of 22 yards! OUCH). Denver will by all means throw the ball tonight and throw it often. Jay MAY throw a couple ducks but will hit the target more times then he will miss. New England will have to throw the ball even IF Billichick doesn't come out the gate passing to keep up with Denver's offense. New England could try to keep Denver's offense off the field by running the ball but that hasn't been their trend (RANKED 22ND - 148 rushing attempts)

I would feel better taking the OVER in this game. But, this game could end up with alot of 'incomplete' drives resulting in more FGs then TDs. 'I' would feel better put my money on Billichick getting a 2-3 TDs at home and Cutler doing what he does...IMO

Hitting 70 % vs the NFL ( NOT DOCUMENTED)

First documented pick and it gets crushed lol

For starters nobody hits 70% in anything never mind the NFL....and even if you were noway that high % would maintain....So why even mention it especially when you cant prove it ?

And the "Easy Money" statement was good for laugh lol please tell me whats easy about beating NFL pointspreads ? Good grief lol

Carry on

I take my punishment like a man. No excuses, but it would've been a different game with a healthy Cutler. There was no way the Pats would've have been able to keep scoring with the Broncos....if that first play didn't happen. That's why they play the game!

Good job to the most that had this game picked!!!!:103631605
