How do these morons get to be coaches? This clown must not have a clue what clock management is. The way he cost his team the game last night was pathetic. The players did the best they could to win a game then this moron flat out loses it for them. It makes me sick coaches make millions only to be incompetent when it is time to earn it.

He doesn't make millions. He's earning an assistant coach's salary because that's what he was until a couple days ago.

They covered.

no doubt they covered.... but they should have won...the clock is stopped for a review on the disputed TD... How do you as the coach not set the situation up for the QB when you go back out on the field...

How about mike leach's clock management with 5 min left and up 1 lol.... They were moving the ball on Stanford for the last 3 quarters and could have kept it moving had they just simply let the clock run down to 2-3 seconds before snapping. I get that he doesn't like to run the ball, which is cool, but you can still throw the ball and take time off the clock wth a lead in your schools potentially biggest win in a decade or more.... Instead he goes for the jugular first play on a go route down the sideline to have it be Incomplete and stop the clock, then goes with an obvious screen pass they ran about 5-7 times prior in that game and the DB jumps the route for a pick.... In all honesty they are fortunate to have even been in that game late.... Stanford was sleep walking all night, had two costly turnovers and then ultimately settled for a fg their final drive when they could have punched it in the end zone for a secure win and gone for two to go up 7...... So wazoo was lucky just to get to that point. Then Faulk CLEARLY FUMBLED that ball and the refs reviewed it and said his arm was going forward lol.... He checked his throw and completely stopped his arm, got bumped from his left side and the ball slipped out of his hand and went 1 yard in front of him, just like a fumble would and then was recovered by Stanford..... LOL PISS POOR OFFICIATING ALLL NIGHT.....

Wazoo played very hard and well, no one can take that away from them and I'm certainly not trying to, but they caught Stanford on an off night in my opinion.... Had stanfords OC made an earlier adjustment, hogan probably runs for 200+ yards and 3-4 tds..... That's not a joke either...

back ll to the time management tho, coaches et paid a lot of money to handle those situations and secure wins..... The good ones do it right, the average coaches always blow it lol

i agree.. i cant bitch about going for the win, clock management was horrible and they play call was horrible against that defense.

Honestly I think it's more on the OC. He should have been in the ear of his QB, giving him 2 plays. The interim HC is the DC if I am not mistaken. So while he's the acting head man, the OC should be running that drive especially with seconds left on the clock. Even the last play with a mobile QB should have given him a run/pass option and get him to the edge.

It's been said "players win games & coaches lose em". Very true in many cases, both pro & NCAA.

I have to believe they told the QB the clock was going to start. I think it was the play call. They thought the throw back to the back side receiver would be wide open and it failed. Then they try the miserable QB sneak with a stacked defense which just kills me. I don't get why these guys think they have to go with a goal line package when they could spread the field with WR and then run it up the middle. Too much manhood thinking they should be able to push their way for a yard and it often does't work. Oh well, easy one this week with the Buckeyes.
