I dunno how it works with MMA but obviously boxers have to register their hands as deadly weapons. He could get charged with assault with a weapon.

If he had $ he could probably settle but he isn't a big name or anything and fighters don't get paid much.

The dude getting beat up apparently trained at Neer's gym and challenged him. Guy says the 3 minute spar was back and forth. Then at the end of the round he went to pick up his mouth piece and Neer tackled him. That's apparently when the video starts. Kinda fishy that Neer won't release the whole video of what happened before that. Who knows if this guy is legit or not but that's what he said.

Some are saying he could be judged like he assaulted the guy with a deadly weapon... cmon... pussification of the world, guy insults guy, guy challenges guy, he agrees, gets his ass handed to him... got beat up lightly as far as we can see they broke up the fight... guy will prob learn his lesson and wont be able to move his jaw for a week, thats nothing...

Real beating involves broken teeth, jaw, cheekbones or else.

I agree; certainly not the worst thing in the world... I think the legal stuff was more a cautionary kinda thing, not meant to persecute the guy. I get your point.
