Aoki is an incredible jui jitsu fighter with possibly the best defensive guard in his weight class. Uno is a wrestler with good submissions.

Neither has knockout power really.

Both guys have issues with strikers. This will come down to wrestling and submissions.

Uno will likely get the takedown and work from Aoki's dangerous guard. He's not going to submit or knock out Aoki put if he's careful in that top position he has a chance.

Uno only loses when he gets knocked out or can't get the guy down which won't be an issue with Aoki who may prefer to be on the bottom, using his rubber guard.

With the odds the way they are, Uno is the choice. He is going to be in alot of dangerous spots but he's very hard to submit and can win on the cards.

Alvarez has some of the best pure boxing in the division and has good low kicks when he uses them. Good wrestling although he likes to keep it standing.

Kawajiri is a wrestler with excellent clinch work. Ends most of his fights with ground and pound. Can throw some bombs standing but is not technical really.

Alvarez has good takedown defense while Kawajiri has a nice chin and picks his spots well.

I'm going with the underdog Alvarez. I think he has the takedown defense to avoid Kawajiri and there are some big holes in the Japanese fighters' standup defense.

Aoki took it but Uno at least put up a fight. Is gonna lose on the cards. Aoki had some awesome sub attempts. Spent a ton of time just holding Uno down which is what makes Aoki really boring to watch against some guys. Oh well, it was a 3-1 underdog that went to the cards. I still like the value.

Congrats to Aoki backers.
