I'm certainly not one to bitch about a bet, especially not at HT with a 1-0, score but this SMU system is NOT working in MLS. Dallas have 15 goals (out of 17) scored by attackers this year and this system is making them drop back to their own area to defend...total joke

In 1.5 games under this clown FC Dallas have THREE shots on goal and just 5 shots attempted in 135'

anyway, hope for 2 from Houston in 2H

- really like this game though RBNY have surprised in the past two matches. 99% chance both Angel and Reyna are out again which means they are a disaster in attack with jokes for playmakers and nil finishing ability. Chivas USA not exactly lighting the lamp frequently but they should have won in NY 3 weeks ago and will get the job done tomorrow

- New England have yet to beat an Eastern Conference team at home which should have them revved up tonight
Toronto cannot play away from their artificial pitch and have allowed at least 2 goals in every road game. I see New England scoring early and then Twellman coming off the bench to seal a 2-0 victory

- top 3 scorers in MLS and 5 of the top 10 assist men in this match. Expect an all-star type of match with no defense and tons of shots as this is THE showcase game for MLS. Not only is it on ABC but also precedes the Euro 2008 final which will probably be the most watched event in the world this year. If this match can entertain the folks tuning in early for the Europ final, MLS can get some more viewers. The number say there is no way this game ends without at least 4 getting pulled out of the net. DC have scored 10x in their last 3 at home and LA have scored at least 3 goals in 5 of their last 6 games. We also have the two highest scoring teams in the league plus the two teams with the worst defenses. Only issue is the crazy noon start and how quickly LA can acclimate to the morning match.

my thoughts on those games:
Cbus - they are borderline play for me actually...waiting on the gomez situation to get reported as he is the only real rapids playmaker
NE over - not a bad look but I like 2-0 for a final
RSL dnb - worst road team in mls history but they're playing well and could definitely get something
chi under - totally agree but I don't pay juice on unders
chivas under - same as chi under

Are you a big American football guy?? My buddy is a HUGE Thomas Jefferson alum in High School. I have been following them through their state champ this past year. I am going down over Labor Day as they play the Clev HS coached by Ted Ginn Sr...

yeah, i'm a huge Tide, Pitt, Steelers fan ...

TJ are always great. Got the kid Lucas Nix coming from there to Pitt...actually TJ is basically a Pitt pipeline. I don't attend many HS games but follow it closely due to recruiting. Plus it's impossible to avoid it living in western PA

TJ/Cleve should be a decent game. Don't forget to hit the new casino in Wheeling

Actually--I was told the game is part of the Herbstreit Tourney and the stadium is actually in Whelling basically in the Casino parking lot
--TJ won last year with their backup QB and RB--as Orlando was awesome. However, my buddy says Clev is awesome and told me that he would make Clev a 6.5 pt fav

also have DCU over....I mean, who would play a match w/ LA to go under. Well, I have and gone 1-1...they've had only two games, to my recollection, that have gone under the total.

NY was just trying to hold on for a result, seemingly, in the 2H.

Chivas...starting Curtin in central def. w/ old man Suarez....what was Preki thinking. I don't know when Galindo is slated to return - Aug. I believe.
