- Arena has never been confused with Ruud as far as offensive style of play so look for a much more conservative LA Galaxy in the homestretch. If it plays out as expected this will be one of the worst matches to watch all year with absolutely no quality playmaker in the game, as least to start. Becks/LD/Ruiz/Blanco/Pappa not expected to play plus Chi scorer Thorrington is injured and McBride is max 70% right now.

- biggest match of season for NE in my opinion as they've not beaten DC in 5 meetings and have now lost 2 straight for 1st time all year. Joseph and Parkhurst back but have to use backup keeper with Reis injured. DC leaky on the road and still working in a new keeper of their own plus 4 starters out. 3-1 home win

no, wells is benched as they brought in the keeper from Basel...think he was the national keeper of Liberia. He played vs Chitown but did not face many shots like he should tonight.
