Name the 4 pitchers with more than 3000 strikeouts with fewer than 1000 walks.

Looked it up. Smoltz qualifies, but there is a fifth. Maybe the question was retired players

You are right Tom. The announcers were wrong. They did not say anything about being retired.

He has about 2600 strikeouts and 1500 walks.

The walks kind of surprises me.

The last player was a teammate of one of the other 4 players.

He also wore the same number for the team.

He also is 2nd in home runs allowed.

OAKAS, I started at age 10 in 1970 and played through high school.

Then picked it up again in late 80s for about ten years with adult H2H league in Dallas.

There's still a fairly strong tournament circuit that hits about 25 cities a year leading up to a couple of weekend tourneys with upwards of $10,000 in handle.
