2-1 -25 yesterday, damm Injuns wouldn't give me the sweep. Overall 56-49 +1010. One early play today.

4 Units-Brewers-140 over the Dodgers

May come back with a late play when this one cashes. Sheets didn't have a great outing last time, expect him to pitch much better at home!

Jaypaw-Timlin-Embree-Foulke=0 runs yesterday, I'd say that's shutting the door on the A's. Williamson is due back June 4th, that's not that long. Tendinitis, I still play hoop with Tendinitis in my knee, a little rest and he'll be fine!
Lowe-He's gonna give up runs, I said that before the game, and it held true. I think the Yanks were the ones to show everyone to go the opposite way with him-when he pitches you away. He's just like Maddux-with a little better movement. I think he is a good 3rd 4th pitcher in the rotation. Not too many teams new of his pitching when he had that great year, I mean he was just a closer, didn't pitch to many batters. He can get ripped anyday-I generally wager against him on the road!
One reason I don't give write-ups in Bases is cause what you stated-Errors-You just can't predict when they will cost you, ex.Sox game. I agree with ya that was HUGE! I'll talk to you in a bit! Damm Yanks-Got it going on as well! Let's just play the American League Finals-between these 2 teams now! It's inevitable!

Nanners-I agree with you-I just hope the Yankees face them instead of the Sox. They're relief pitching is pretty scary.

timlin embree and foulke combo was good but remember thats all their is... Timlin and embree arent foulkes thats for sure - they can both give up lots of runs if they arent on top of their game.

The fact is with starters like lowe and arroyo there is going to need to be someone to be available for long and mid relief for when they collapse... Right now there is NOONE to fill that role - and that puts massive pressure on the starters in question knowing that there is noone to bail the team out if they get reamed.

Dont get me wrong I like arroyo but he still has some flaws that will show up from time to time.

Since all "three" of the sox relievers went out last night you can probably expect to see the rooks tonight one way or another - unless arroyo is able to make it 7 or 8 innings.

That will be the key - will brown or dinardo give it up?

The line is too low for me to bet tonight but we will learn something tonight I believe about the bullpen one way or another... However it may be that embree and/or timlin will be ok to go since they each only went 1 inning last night.

anyway I look forward to seeing how arroyo progresses tonight.

Besides all the rookies-who definately need a shot to show what they have-they can always rely on Wakefield if they need innings. Even if he pitched 3+ innings he probably wouldn't even miss a start. Franconia has already done that earlier this year. The Good thing is that the way their offense is playing they can afford to give up maybe 5 or 6 runs and still have a chance to win with their 3rd and 4th guys. Are you sure your not from New York, maybe Albany? LOL. Tonights game should be interesting, your right.

You know where i'm from...

I still dont understand how a team with only a good lead off guy (damon), a good #3 (ortiz) hitter and a good #4 hitter (manny) but THATS IT - is doing so well.

how are they going this? Bellhorn? Reese? Mccarty? You-kill-us(hot but still...)? Kapler?

I must say that although daubauch technically falls into that category I gotta say I really like daubuch - he should have been the starting firstbaseman way back...

overall these guys are overacheving and you cant deny that. I hope it continues but somewhere its gonna have to fall off - and I'll be there to bet against them!

It seems like they always have one huge inning where they all hit and put up a 5 spot. then they knickel and dime a run here and there. it works, so i'm not complaining!
