exactly... will you be playing these late games tonight? I have a lot on futures for the Tigers to win the AL and WS. I'm real worried about that now. Seems like all of North America except the state of Michigan wants the A's to win. I officially hate this team. They defy the rules of baseball. But credit where credit is due I guess. The line is low for good reason, not because you are being trapped.
I may be totally off base here but I can't resist taking a shot here with the Giants to win the current series with the Reds and the NL pennant.....
10/9/2012 5:35 PM MLB Baseball 1896 San Francisco Giants (Series)* +950 vs Cincinnati Reds (Series)
Fixed Price
Risking $100.00 To Win $950.00 WIN! First time a NL team has won a 5 game series after being down 2-0 in the series which breaks the streak of 21 straight series losses in this situation.
MLB Baseball National League : San Francisco Giants +1900
Risking $100.00 To Win $1,900.00
If the Giants can get game #3 the focus and pressure will shift to the Reds in game #4 with Zito on the bump, who has pitched well recently, versus a Reds starter who is TBA. If this series reaches a game #5 with Cain on the mound and probably no Cueto this series is over and the Giants will advance. Based on the first 2 games and the outcome of both the back of the Giants pen is well rested and ready to pounce when and if they can enter with a lead late in the game. At 19-1 odds I believe this wager will be heavily weighed on what happens tonight. If they do advance further in the post season I love my odds versus either the Cards or the Nats in a toss-up 7 game series. My wager above is valued at .10 units so if you tail wager at your discretion.
Game #1
San Francisco @ Cincinati
Pick: UNDER 3.5, -125 FIRST 5 INNINGS
Brief Write-Up
As you may know after the Giants were down 2-0, before game #3, I placed and posted 2 future wagers on the Giants to win the series (+950) and the Giants to win the NL Pennant (+1900) because I saw great value if they could somehow win game #3, which they did. They also won game #4, now here we are, a game #5. Looking at the numbers in Division Series history, NL teams that have gone up 2-0 are a perfect 21-for-21 in winning the series. Since I already have a series wager with the Giants on this game and I can't really get a solid read on the full game side (The game could go either way) I am going to take a shot on the First 5 innings total, which I believe is the best play in this game. I will not play the full game total because I just don't trust the middle/late relief of the Reds pen, if it comes to that. I said in post #1 I don't have time for write-ups today but I couldn't resist.
Game #2
St. Louis @ Washington
Pick: *Big Play* St. Louis ML, -114
BOL
Game #3
Baltimore @ NY Yankees
Pick: Baltimore +1/2, -105 F5 Innings (1 unit)
Pick: Baltimore ML, +152 (2 units)
I believe this line is a total joke for the Yankees and Hughes. This play is solely based on value here. I am going to play 1 unit for the first half of the game and just in case it loses I will double up on the full game. I have had a few questions the last few days asking how many units my plays are valued so I will start posting unit amounts. My basic play is 1 unit and my big plays are 5 units. We have MLB, NFL and NCAAF tonight but if anyone plays the NBA pre season I have a posted play in the NBA forum for tonight.
Game #4
Detroit @ Oakland
Pick: Detroit -1, -104 (2 units)
