LIKE YOUR CALLS GUYS.. PARLAYING PHILLY AND FLA -.5 FIRST 5..THE PHILLY PEN IS TOO DANGEROUS WITH KC FIRST 5..LOVE THE OAK TOTAL OVER FOR THE GAME

MR MCGEE INTERESTING CALL..I'M TAKING LANNAN FIRST 5 +130

3-5 -$275 this weekend

ytd 32-30 -$23

ANOTHER LOST WEEKEND ..now I'm in the red!!!!!!!! Hard to believe your team hits 4 homers and can' top a team total of 4???????????

METS/STROS Two 5-11 teams with very average pens..THE METS are 5-11 and start a 6 game homestand with the astros and Diamondbacks. they need to go 4-2 to get back into the season or 5-1 even better. I really like the Mets to take this series..first two games are Niese and Dickey vs Wandy Rodriguez and Norris..If Jon Niese wants to show he belongs in the Rotation, these are the types of games he needs to win, Wandy is nowhere the pitcher on the road that he is at home

$100 each :
METS -.5 FIRST 5 +110
METS -139 GAME
METS/STROS O 7.5 EVEN FOR GAME

$50:
FIRST INNING RUN ..YES +105

YANKS/TOR .. AJ BURNETT has been a superstar for the Yanks in April. In fact I don't believe he's lost an april game since he came here...
Drabek looks good but a first start against NY is usually tough

$100
Yanks -110..treading lightly..Jays do well vs righties

POSTING MY FULL CARD SHORTLY:toast:

Twins (3-2.) I look for the Twins to win today behind Pavano (last 2, 16IP, 0.56 ERA.). The Orioles have been struggling losing 8 straight and I don't see them turning it around vs. the Twins. In 2010 the Orioles went 3-5 vs. the Twins. Three straight for the Twins, tonight. Good Luck.

From watching AL West games, I can tell you it is very hard scoring runs at Oakland. Tons of foul territory and a notorious park for low scoring games

Guys can we get some team reports going here, not just picks.. For example, I'll do a mini one with the Dodgers..

Dodgers have won two in a row but the offense is still stagnant. Without Furcal that means Gwynn is usually in the lineup and although he's fast he sucks at hitting.. Loney had a couple of RBIs last night and might be coming along he is a very good hitter and is totally underacheiving.

You can say right now that Matt Kemp is the best player in majors. I know it might not last but find me another player who has done what he has so far this season. I really think he will continue it and end up having a great season. He will have 30 HR's and 30 SBs, and will hit .300+..

Although Broxton has 6 saves he hasn't performed well, he gave up 2 runs last night and another run on Sunday. I simply do NOT trust him and think he needs to be demoted. He is not the same, velocity is down, confidence is shot.

Kuo will be back soon and maybe he should be the closer, Padilla also coming back soon and I've heard talk that he might be closer. If Loney can get going the Dodgers will have a lethal 3-4-5. The other batters in the lineup other than Carroll have been bad or inconsistent. Uribe(bad), Barajas(inconsistent),Thames(inconsistent), Miles (bad)

Carroll is having a good season and seems to be a step faster this season, I swear he is running faster than he used too..

Dodgers are pretty much an average team, not great but far from terrible.

Last night during the Texas game, the Rangers commentators were talking with Mark McLemore about Texas coming off of a long road trip, and the fact that they got in at 5 in the morning yesterday. He said as a player the first game back usually wasn't that bad as far as being tired. McLemore said by the second game of the series the tiredness sets in and hits harder.

I don't know if that is the story tonight, but after playing the Yanks Sunday night, flying to Arlington and arriving at 5 in the morning, then playing in last night's game, they could be a bit tired. This is an aspect of the game that I think should be taken into consideration.

I think the Rangers are laying too much chalk. Plus, Lewis was great last year, and I expect him to be good this season as well, but he hasn't really proven anything great so far into this season.

Angels could pull the upset tonight, but I'll play it with the runline at +1.5 for a small play.

Angels +1.5

My grade on the Rangers so far into the season:

Batting A+
Bench B+
Starting pitching A
Bullpen (mid and long relief) B-
Closing A

What I like most is their offense is so good that they are never really out of a game. The best part is if someone is in a slump, there is plenty of talent around to make up for it. The biggest weakness on offense is they are missing one good hitting outfielder. Borbon stinks at the plate and Chris Davis (in at 1st with Moreland playing Right) whiffs at every damn pitch tossed up there. Both Borbon and Davis are very impatient batters.

What scares me the most is in tight games, Washington seems to love to go to Oliver and Rhodes. I'm pretty sure these guys were throwing BP to Mays and Mantle back in the day. O'Day got lit up once and Wash is hesitant to bring him in unless it is a situation like last night where they are up 6-7 runs. So the missing link in the pen is a set up guy. He needs to have a little more faith in the young guys.

On the plus side of the bullpen, Strope looks good for a young, inexperienced pitcher.

I don't expect the Rangers to pull a one good season then go into the crapper like we sometimes see. I believe they are a really good team who will contend for the American League title this season.

I still like Lannan and the Nationals in Game #1 today, had it in at +140 yesterday, got +136 this morning and see it's dropping. I will pass on the under since it's a DH and these guy may have to suffer a bit longer if they get in trouble.

I like the STL run line in game #2, Garcia has figured it out and really is staying down in the zone and pitching well. I was so worried about him in the spring but he has been great. They have gone great in limited time against Zimmerman as well.

I'm trying not to post every time I bet a Dodger game. Only when I feel strongly about it and think that there might be info others can benefit from. I do a lot more reading in this thread than I do writing and I appreciate that. But with that said I'm 4-4-1 on Dodger plays.
I'm on the under tonight. I think that both of these pitchers are going to benefit from Hirschbeck's massive strike zone. Especially Lowe's sinker. He knows the park from his time as a Dodger and he's usually pitched well there. Hopefully Garland dusted off the cobwebs in his first start last week. Dodger bats are icy.

Any Pirates locals out there know what the story with McCuthen is?

"McCutchen has left the team for an indefinite time period to attend to a personal matter, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette." = Rotowire

WENT TO SEE THE METS UP CLOSE...THEY ARE PUKE

What was i thinking taking them to win a must series...

yest 1-1-1 +0
series play 0-1 -$150

ytd now 35-37 -$592

lost $1000 on these idiots since last week

Reyes had 4 hits( 2 stolen bases) Beltran 3 and Murphy 3 including a 2 run bomb
and the team scores 3 runs..They screwed up 3 bunt attemps..dickey popped out,
willie harris missed 2 then struck out, Thole in the 9th popped into a double play and killed any chance. Dave Wright swinging at anything and again striking out 2 more times now in a 0-20 funk. Pagan's batting average is lower than my weight...the manager who was supposed to be fundamentally sound and fiery is getting walked over by the umps

There is very little to cheer about in the stands.and angel Pagan gets thrown out at home on a wild pitch as the tieing run because of a poor slide(he had definitely beat the ball there).Today Jason Bay returns and should strenghten the lineup.. I expect beltran and reyes both to be gone soon if things don't pick up..Both have picked it up in their free agency yrs..

today :CAPUANO VS HAPP..Two guys who so far this yr are just average pitchers..Can't see either team scoring less than 2 in the first 5 innings

so :
$200 mets/stros o 4 -105 first 5
