It's a long season so I wanna make sure I'm selective. With that said I like this LAD/StL game Sunday.
Carpenter is like 6-1 vs LA and Billingsley is something like 1-3 vs StL.
The dodgers have been pretty much awful lately. No timely hitting with runners on base.
I'm gonna play both the cardinals and the over 7.5.
In a way it's a hedge because the Dodgers are gonna have to out score a hot cardinals team to win. I feel good about both bets though.
BOL
4-2-1 LAD plays

Grab a fresh beer Gyno, gonna be a scorcher down there tomorrow.

OAK Cahill -1.5 +140 The A's have committed 17 errors in their first 15 games -- the most in the Bigs -- Cahill (White Rabbit), on the other hand, has been lights out in his previous starts (not counting his $35 million post-contract signing game). I'm bettin he'll have something to prove this game. His Achilles heel is the Oakland D and inconsistent bullpen with no bonafide closer. The other wildcard is the A's offense, one game they're awake, the next they're sleep walking again. Oh, and Oakland's pitching has yet to give up an earned run this series with Detroit. Coco and his do along with Godzilla need to give the A's the spark to split the series. (.5units on the A's)

Cards look like one of the better wagers of the YEAR.. Not the week or recently, the BETTER WAGERS of THE YEAR..

Dodgers are cold as ice, simply can't manufacture runs right now.. Furcal is out and he is a key part of this offense and defense.. He being out is huge IMO.. Dodgers are w/o their best bullpen guy as well, KUO is injured.

Now the Cards have Carpenter the mound is not going to help considering he OWNS the Dodgers.. Lets look at the stats:

1.03 ERA 37 IP 4 RUNs. 23 Strikeouts 4 Walks.. DOMINATION.

Either has done ok, Carroll has been alright everyone sucks against Carp..

Billingsley is pitching for the Dodgers and he struggling. 7.71 ERA 1.77 WHIP .310 OPP BA
Against the Cards his ERA is 6.97 with a .284 OPP BA....

Dodgers will be nervous trying to avoid the sweep which means cold bats will now be nervous bats as well.. Cards will be loose considering they have been dominating lately..

Cards have the better lineup, pitcher and will probably be the more relaxed team. Dodgers are a mess and have a lot of pressure on them to avoid losing 6 in a row and a sweep..

I really love the Cards, win or lose its the right play..

My pick on Friday was going along fine until Oswalt pulled his back and left the game.....the bullpen then proceeded to lose the game. Sorry guys! Today its Hamels vs. Sanchez but no line listed. With the Phillies bat cooling off like this cold wet weather we've been having and Jimmy Rollins batting 3rd with only ONE rbi this season I'd pass on this game.

I know it hurts but your being completely accurate, two teams playing very differently right now. STL is grinding every at bat up there and 1 to 9 they are hitting the ball and with power. Carp is coming off a bad outing but he typically is very sharp after a bad outing so if he does have another bad game I will genuinely be concerned about him. I think he is OK and will be tough today and they will cruise. You know I am not shy to bet against these guys but they are playing very well right now and I will ride it while it lasts.

Twins, (2-2) somethings to think about. the Twins have lost four straight and it doesn't look like that is going to change anytime soon. Twins went 0-8 with runners in scoring position yesterday. Twins are last in the AL in slugging percentage (.310), home runs (4), and RBI (38). The good news is that the starting pitching is decent enough to keep them in most games. Duensing vs. Hellickson has UNDER written all over it. play the UNDER.

FYI,We have high wind warnings in the Cleveland area today out of the West and that means for Progressive Field from left field to right field the winds will blow 20-30 mph and gusts up to 60 mph.

Line has not moved, surprising but I do know there are bettors who chase and bettors who think that a team that that has lost 3 in a row in a series and/or 6 in a row is due for a win..

I'm serious, if this play loses I will not be that upset. Its the right play there is no reason to bet the cold ass Dodgers... I'm going to this game and will be rooting in the Cards.
