Has anyone here ever done the Stadium tour. Where you travel to all 30 stadiums accross the US in a single baseball season.

Something my buddies and I used to talk about in college. Now that I finally have a decent income im thinking about making the tour.

would be fun to sit down and map it out.. i would be starting in florida and probably go to atlanta and up the east coast...

over thru pennsylvania , thru ohio and detroit .

head west and then down along the southwest coming home..

take about 75 to 90 days and see the country.

Last year in the beginning of July a buddy and me went from Tampa to ATL to Cinc to Pitt to Cleve to Boston to NY (yankmees twice, no mets) to balt to philly and back to Tampa. We had a blast and I recommend doing it if you are a baseball freak such as myself. We want to hit the midwest and spend some time in Omaha for the CWS next time.

actually planning on something like this for next summer . me and my 10 year old daughter.

leave florida and head to st louis , kansas city , both chicago teams , detroit, cincy, cleveland, pitt, philly, both new york teams , boston, baltimore , washington , atlanta and then back home...

15 stadiums during summer break .

the following year we will fly to seattle and move down the west coast and hit arizona last before flying home . 6 more stadiums.

doing some other fun stuff along the way on both trips..

I've been in that cracker box known as Yankee Stadium. Take a weekend off and go see that really beautiful park up in Philly now. They really didn't skimp.

Philly and Baltimore have nice parks, but the settings around them leave a lot to be desired. Really hard to beat the settings you get in San Francisco, Seattle and San Diego, views around the stadium are nothing short of spectacular and very close to all the downtowns have to offer. Three parks I guarantee you will find near the top of great experiences.

I am planning this for next yr.

Have actually had one response from a sportsbook about sponsorship. Dont know what they will kick in but hey I will wear a sportsbook T-shirt to all the games if they kick in some funds.

If you're going to do both Chicagos, you might as well travel up I-94 and hit Miller Park. The team isn't that much, but it will be two years down the road. The park is great, even when the roof is shut.

out of all the stadiums I have been to, I would say the nicest of the "new stadiums" is cincinatti's. I really liked that park and can only hope that the cardinals new stadium is on par with it.
