Hey PIT,

Friedly reminder.

Records in bases does not really mean anything. Its the amount of money or units you are up and down. There is no spread in bases.

You can be 9-4 and down 5 units. Heck you can be 100-40 and be down units.

Understood my man.....like I've said before, I was never a big baseball guy. Just started getting into it. I just posted my record so people wouldnt call me out. What do you suggest?

No problem buddy.

I suggest you post your record and you units up to date.

Say you had a team -140 and they lost then you would be 0-1 -1.40 units.

Then if you had a team +210 and they won then you would be 1-1 +0.70 units.

Got it?

Ex. -140 and +210 would be +70
I guess its the same, just easier on the math.

Also...

going into yesterday you wposted that you were 7-4.

Yesterday you went 1-1 for + some units because Toronto was a doggy.

So you should be 8-5 and not 9-4.

I was just saying bottom line the main thing is bases is the units won...not the w-l record.

Ive found that units are easier personally

on any chalk play you add one for a win or subtract the 1.x for a loss

so a -150 win = +1 unit
and a -150 loss = -1.5 units


just a question of moving the decimal over 2 places - no real math needed


on a dog win just move the decimal and on a dog loss just subtract 1 unit:

a win of +150 = +1.5 units
a loss of +150 = -1 unit
