The play offs are here! yah and feel very battle tested after the season long bet jam contest.

First Up:

Brewers +1.5 -1.05*

Two things I like about this game one was Sveum's comment about starting untested Gallardo:

"Brewers manager Sveum indicates that Gallardo could go 9-10-11 innings whatever it takes."

I could see him having a stellar game.

This trend:

HAMELS is 1-5 (-10.5 Units) against the money line as a home favorite of -200 or more this season. (Team's Record)
The average score was HAMELS 2.5, OPPONENT 4.2 -

the public is hammering up the RL over 80% b/c they don't want to pay the juice which dragged up the ML whihc was getting considerbaly less action. When I see that on a NL game I like to go the other way.

I will be back later with a CUBS/DODGERS play as well as the night cap.


No series play as the line is too steep and i think the Phillies will ulitmately prevail.

GL Powerz loving the Brew Crew. Feel the way the matchups fall in this series gives them a huge advantage with this price. Also love Gallardo. It's a shame he was out most of the season as he is one of my favorite pitchers to back. BOL

Damn that was close the winning run for me was 90 feet away.

Lowe will pitch well today and dempster has been solid at home, both teams perfer lefties so i expect the right handers to keep this tight.

Looks like that series wager on the Angels is F'd ----> Dice K tmr, beckett on Sunday. Oh my...may buy it back but -199 now need to think about it.

The one thing that stood out like a sore thumb yesterday. TEAMS/PLAYERS that have won in the PO's stepped their game up.

Hamels, Lester, ManRam, Lowe, Bosox

To a smaller degree Phillies.


Remaining on that theme - CWS +167 1* - White sox just wanted in!

Everything except PO experience points to the Rays. How crazy is Ozzy setting up Vaz as a no big game pitcher but keeps coming back to him in big games. Today he maybe his day.

The other thing I like here is the white sox pen has been solid for most of the year and the rays seem to come from behind late in games or in the 5th inning. Perhaps that does not happen today as the kids maybe gripping!
