My father was a security guard at Shea Stadium when I was a kid. I met every mets player in the early 90's. Not that I remember any of them.
Used to get there during batting practice and get autographs almost daily.
They players used to joke about seeing me in their dreams lol. I just thought it was the coolest thing in the world to see them almost daily in the summers.

Met Rose at a business event but he did talk a little baseball with us and sign autographs. The man is a genius.
Met Larkin in Junior High when my parents took us to a Reds game super early. My sister and I were chosen to go out and stand next to a player during the national anthem. I was lucky enough to get Larkin. Very nice guy, asked me about my school, friends, etc.. I still have the baseball signed by him on my bar next to the Pete Rose one.
Met all the other Reds players on my list at various meet and greet events.
I once took a wrong turn leaving a game and ended up outside the reds clubhouse where all the wives and girlfriends were waiting on the players. All 10's of course.
