There's never been a season where home teams produced worse than a -3.9% ROI but through 8/16 home teams are -7.0% in 2020

It gets way worse when using a left-handed starter (-11.6%) or just being a home dog (-19.5%) and when you combined them (lefty home dog) you're at -23.1% ROI

home field advantage is gone in 2020...

home teams -7.0% vs -1.7%
home lefty starter -11.6% vs -1.3%
home dog -19.5% vs -4.0%
home dog LHP -23.1% vs -1.9%
