After just a few days of the season, I am 100% convenced that MLB has juiced the baseballs for the now non juiced players. How many times have I seen a lazy fly ball keep going and going and going. The balls are flying out of the yard at an unreal rate. I know its just a few days, but I had my suspicions that MLB would do this. This is the perfect time for them to pull this scam. If the public believes that the players are off steriods, and the home run rate stays the same.Bud Selig can claim that steriods do not enhance performance after all.

As long as Pete Rose is not included in the HOF, baseball will remain a joke.

Have mostly just watched Royals games so far and the ball sure as hell don't jump off their bats.

Chop you may be right but personally the theory has a grassy knoll sound to it IMO. I believe the quality of pitching (especially relief) is at an all time low, thus the heavy hitting. Blame the ball, you might be right, I don't see baseball messing around with the steroid issue by juicing the ball to make up for lack of the long ball due to their better late than never roid crackdown policy.
