Game 3
Why not just play dogs!
CWS +174
Hou +380 series
CWS +174 and rising! I like Ozzy too, but this is ridiculous. Garland is no slouch and any of these games can go either way. 'Strohs might have won the last one if not for yet another bad call. They did show some heart tying the game, so they might not be done. Sox are slightly better, but it is not a mismatch. All they did was hold serve at home. Even though I would normally lean to Roy, i would never lay -180 on a MLB game. RL is too risky as one run games are too prevalent. That's why I played it this way.
Hou +380 might seem nuts, as I fully expect the Sox to win the series, but there is a method to my madness. I had them (CWS) for 2 units at -120 before the series, then after game 1, I hedged with Hou +210 (1.7 units) since I played CWS for games 1 + 2. Aside from those 2 game wins, I am left with a bit more on the Hou side, but cannot lose. Hou .8 to win 3.04 leaves me with .5 to win 4 (+800). Even starting now at +380, you can hedge tomorrow. If CWS win, Garcia will be a reasonable price in Game 4. If Hou wins, the series line will come back to earth (CWS -200 or so). I might not get rich like this, but I'm not risking anything either and will yield a profit on the series like I do for almost every playoff in all sports using this method (betting the team that just lost for the series). Works out sort of like a scalp. Happy hedging!
