Just wondering, what do you all think about this? I am a baseball freak, consider myself old school, and when I see just about every batter step out after every pitch it drives me f------ crazy! I mean, they step out and they STAY out. For about 150 years, that was always how you DON'T play baseball, and now these guys just changed that completely. So many times, I would get keyed up for a big ballgame, then after about 2 innings, I'd be like f--- this. I remember back in the early 80's when Mike Hargrove was doing his 'Human rain delay' gig, Rick Dempsey whizzed one by his ear when he was throwing it back to the mound. Bring that attitude back...please. Usually, I don't pay too much attention to what the commissioner does, but I was so glad he addressed this and I hope somehow baseball puts and end to this ridiculous crap. I mean, the pitcher's going to do what he wants to do anyway, what is the point of stepping out after evry pitch? Just wondering if it bugs everybody else like it does me.

I love pitchers that work quickly.

These human rain delays as batters, Nomar and can't think of others right now.

I miss Mike Hargrove as he was the master of wasting time after every pitch

I didn't know that about Jason Werth. He seems old school. I hope soon that staying in the box becomes 'cool' again. Minor leagues players don't do this do they? I haven't seen a minor league game in years. I don't think college players step out all the time. Is this just an MLB thing?

I don't mind at all. As much as I love the sport, I cannot be bothered to watch more than a half inning at a time, so makes no difference to me how long the games take

one of the best 'new-network' launches i have ever seen...

mlb may have been the last to the this table (nba, nfl...etc)...

but they did one hell of a job...

outstanding channel...:103631605
