Couldn't agree with you guys more. We are definitely on the right side of this game. For starters, the Angels are 16.5 games better then the Nats. That right there tells me we're in a good spot here. Not only that, but the Angels are baseball's best road team. There has been much talk this year about home teams winning more than usual but tonight will not be the case. But not only do we have the MUCH better team, we have the MUCH better pitcher. There's no doubt Lackey is a stud as he is 4-1 this year with an amazing 1.73 ERA. He also has been pitching very well of late but how could he not with an ERA under 2? He is 3-0 with 1.64 ERA his last three outings. Bergmann on the other hand has been flat out awful. The Nationals are a putrid 1-8 in games that he starts and he has been getting knocked around of late as he boasts a 6.59 ERA in his last three starts. I just can't see a team that is hitting just .239 as a team have much success against Lackey tonight. The Angels are the play here. Lay the chalk and we should have another Best Bet winner.
