I would think that a total over 9 runs would be conducive to playing runlines and that if I saw the same numbers as today's min/DET on such a total, I could create an advantageous position. Thanks for being so generous with your time.
Well it depends which RL you want to play. If the home team is -150 (no-vig) and the total is 7, I would set the fair RL at -149/+149. With a total of 11, I'd make it -127/+127. Often times the +1.5 will offer value.

Sometimes, but of course the books are aware of this also. The only RL offering value at all tomorrow according to my numbers is the Milwaukee -1.5 (+141) at Pinnacle. I made the line -1.5 (+143). All the others fall within the vig.
I wasn't around before last year but my guess would be that sharps beat them up on them for a few years until they got it right. Of course there are still some books like SIA or Bodog that will offer bad lines but I only find 1 per day or so and a lot of times the edge is so small that I don't even bother.
Me.(<)<I post as Munson across the street, and when I first signed up here, I wanted to use Stabler as an avatar because they were my two favorite athletes growing up. I probably should use the same name, the only reason I did it this way was that I wanted to have both Munson and Stabler in use, the guys I regularly interact with know it's me. Sorry for the confusion.
