Mike Trout will require surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee, Angels general manager Perry Minasian announced on Tuesday. The injury is not expected to be season-ending.
The three-time American League MVP was off to a hot start, tied for the MLB lead in homers with 10 while driving in 14 with six stolen bases and an .867 OPS.
