sick call on Lakers winning lotto BTW
Obviously at this point I think we can safely deduct LeBron James is 1 of the 10-12 most transcendent players to ever play. Where people wanna line that order up is on them but to think otherwise wouldn't be very sound thinking IMO..
Nobody that has ever played is really that much better than him.
Thats a solid assessment and a very good way to look at it.
But I do agree that MJ is the greatest, without a doubt.
There are only 2 reasons I can see in which anyone could honestly say Jordan isn't the best ever:
1. Fans who are too young to have seen him play
2. We all get enamored with certain players & what's going on NOW and tend to forget over time how good Michael Jordan really was.
Lebron, Kobe, etc. are great, but MJ had an aura about him beyond any other player.
Jordan was also double & triple teamed every single night but still managed to dominate.
He is the only player in NBA history that was basically unstoppable.
He did it in every kind of way, and even defensively.
Lebron depends on & uses his combination of size & quickness to his advantage of getting to the basket.
That's why he was near the top of the league in FG percentage. He relies on getting easy buckets.
I think his game could deteriorate quicker than others once he begins to lose a little of that quickness...
