Really looked like they would come out smoking in this spot but the whole team seems to have thrown in the towel, starting with the coach. Pinkel just coached himself out of being interviewed by UW based on how his team has played down the stretch.

Took Mizzou -7 for 2nd half. They started out horribly going down 28. Since then they've scored twice and are driving again. Kinda of a LATE wakeup call in your final home game!

Being from Missouri, I can tell you this whole entire sports program is down mentally. Get beat in basketball last night at home by Davidson and losing to archrival KU in football who are without starting quarterback and you have everything to play for. Pathetic! I can't wait to bet against them next week!

Kojak,

Is it fair to say team lost confidence in the coaching staff after Troy and OSU games. Both games they get up and then go into a shell and playcalling went WACK! Just curious. A couple of the players I am familiar with as they are from the DFW area and that is what I am hearing.

winone,

After fall apart game against OSU, this team mentally fell apart. Best RB Damian Nash spoke to the media about what he perceived to be poor play calling and was suspended at Nebraska. Team hasn't won since. I wonder how much team may believe that Pinkel, who is Don James right hand, already is on the jet to Seattle to take over at University of Washington. This could be playing a big hand in it. BOL

I've heard similar about Pinkel to UW but they were making a run at Saban first. I will see a couple of the kids from this area on Wednesday/Thursday during holiday if they get to come home. I met with them and BSmith during a passing camp down hear during the summer and they were all so pumped and looking forward to the season. I feel for them, but I also know that it can't all be laid at the coaches feet. They will definately be a play against next week.

I think Pinkel will have to pull a Q. Snyder and axe some of his assistants to survive. They have one of the best running QBs in the country, but you wouldn't know it. Against Nebraska, they go out and throw it 50 something times... are you kidding me? Big 1st half leads against OSU, KSU... trouble... and then lose. The Big 12 North was, and is, up for grabs this year- yet nobody seems to want it. I think Pinkel is a great recruiter, but needs to cruise some assistants and let his players play. The certainly had more talent on their side of the ball today. GL. :guillotin <Pinkel, unless he fires Off. Coordinator.
