ATL was golden yesterday but Houston played a bunch of guys that I thought were going to ride the bench. Sactown shot very well from the field and the Lakers sucked from the FT line hitting 60%. Oh well, on to today...

Lot of good spots today. I'll try to summarize my thoughts later but I want to get the plays out there...

Atlanta:

So why would you jump in front of the LeBron train right now while there are still bodies on the tracks from both philly games? Well, philly is an AAU team compared to ATL at home. ATL won easily in Miami last night just like my crystal ball told me, now they get to go home and ball hard til Dec 30th. This team plays solid defense, probably right behind boston in that regard. THey are 7-1 at home this year and come out as a medium home dog. You have to be fucking kidding me. This game should be a pickem but thanks to ATL's narrow road losses in the state of texas recently they are healthy pups. Cleveland isn't going to win by 20 every game the rest of the season and the train falls off the tracks tonight. ATL is 7-1 and at home this year and is a dog LOL, that is lovely

Charlotte:

this reminds me of the pile of money lost on Miami last night. Ok so the LVSC comes out with this one at Det -4 after a narrow home win last night. In 13 minutes LVSC reconsidered based on early betting patterns and moved it down to 2 then to 1. Hmmmm. Pinny opened this one at 2. I'm sure this had caused the LVSC's adjustment, but who cares. Charlotte coming off a bunch of close road losses, just like ATL was. They also had a day of practice to acclimate their new players to the way Charlotte operates. I don't read too deeply into chemistry when you have DJ Augustin runnin shit. Kid is smart and distributes the ball well. He'll have no prob adjusting to his new guys. This line is at 1 now. Wow I grabbed it at 2 at SIA.

A side note: Detroit won last night at home but has gotten their shit kicked in on the road the last two games by none other than Washington and the Knicks. hmmmm and they are road favs?

Wizards:

ok so this is mostly a fade of a struggling philly team off of getting Lebron'd twice. I do not think morale is very high right now and I don't believe they will be prepared or focused at all after that beatdown in cleveland last night. I think there is value with the Wiz here, after they lost some close ones to some pretty good teams, LAL and portland and a road loss to chicago. Waiting for 6 or 6.5. it should get there...

LA Clippers:

well the clippers are on the upswing with the addition of Randolph. Won their last 2 of 3. Houston coming off an easy win last night (that i lost money on) and I don't think they'll be ready for the clips and their new found pride and energy. LAC is going to be stoked to be on their home floor with a believable chance to win a game against H-town. I don't see Houston winning ... let's not forget that houston lost their last 2 road games prior to last night (against a GSW team that plays zero defense).

I like my chances with the home dog here. This line will reach 4.5 or 5 by tip off as the pubby piles on the rockets.

Sacto:

Yeah, ok I think that sacramento is improving. They fought til the end last night and that is refreshing. I'll fade the knicks on the road. They beat up on NJ but that isn't really a road game. With that time off to savor the win and then going out west I don't see them winning this one. Sacto at home is not easy for bad teams to play against. ah well, this one is the weakest of my plays.
