I've always liked this dude. Other than the fact he's a crazy ass Mormon. But he's the Republican type that you can respect. Honest enough to admit some basic truths, had a badass healthcare plan like Obama, and is pretty much the Bush/Reagan type Republican that would spend a shit load. However, I'd only vote for him if he called out his psycho ass party like Christie has done at times.

-------------------------------

Romney, though, kept his focus on the issues. He said that while he hopes the skeptics about global climate change are right, he believes it's real and a major problem.

He said it's not enough for Americans to keep their own carbon emissions in check when much of the rise in greenhouse gases globally is coming from countries such as China and India.

Well considering he might be the Republican nominee again for President, I think he represents a rather important opinion. Lol. Much better than the random bloggers you post that make up data.

You actually feel this way? You wouldn't just vote for the guy who is best for the job?

Unless there were a bunch of Mitts in Congress, not a chance. He's more likely to cater to conservatives than a Dem. Until the Republican party weeds out or calls out these Sheriff Joe/Dave/Russ/festeringZit/Ted Cruz/Sarah Palin/Issa types... there is no possible way I can vote for them.

Fair enough. I personally see it differently but I get where you're coming from.

Although if Hillary is the Dem candidate, I might have a different opinion. I can't believe I'm saying this, but frikkin Rand Paul has completely transformed himself in to a normal looking candidate. Either he is smart enough or has a team smart enough to let him know that you can't be President if you are a crazy ass conservative/libertarian.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about Rand Paul. His dad is nutty.

"Just 27 percent of Americans now offer a positive rating for Romney, the Republican party’s nominee in 2012, compared to 40 percent who give him negative marks.

Good to see RINOs who believe in "global warming" tanking in the polls.

People are fed up with these climate scammers.

Lol, should you really be talking about polls? I think you guys lost your poll-card after the last two elections. Weren't you the one that said Fred Thompson was going to win?? Lmao!! Almost as dumb as your $5000 gold prediction.

Who is a bigger nightmare in your eyes, Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz?

He also said this:

"In my experience, the only system that's been able to lift people out of poverty is free enterprise," he said.

Do you agree on that too?

Exhibit A, boys and girls, showing the idolatry of the Left. They can't think for themselves, so they lap up anything their dear leaders tell them and parrot it as gospel. Because they do, they assume conservatives do the same thing. We don't. Conservatives can think for themselves and form their own opinions. Find me any R politician in the history of our government and I can probably find several of their opinions on issues that don't align with my views.

You'll hear it all the time from the Left. I just got the same mindless shit from my dimwitted brother in law the other night. "WELL, RONALD REAGAN SUPPORTED WAITING PERIODS FOR HAND GUNS!!! THAT MUST MEAN HE WAS PRO-GUN CONTROL!!! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT?!? HUH???" My response to that was "No, he was for the right to bear arms...and even if you want to pretend he wasn't, he was a great leader...not a God."

Well, considering the fact we've had public sector employees (over 19 million right now) for the past century who are not in poverty, I would disagree with this statement based solely on basic logic and data.

That's not to say it's a false dichotomy. Free enterprise and public sector employment can coexist and actually benefit each other.

Given past performances by conservatives who "shoot from the hip" on the national stage, I'd say his campaign team will advise him to get one. Talking like a nut job conservative only works in nut job conservative locations. The national stage is a different ballgame.

Romney isn't dumb enough to believe in Global Warming, its just a ploy of his to try to bring fleebrains like AK into the fold. He's
not my choice but I'm sure behind the scenes he's reassuring those of consequence in his party that he is 'pulling an Obama' which is lying his ass off hoping to persuade a portion of the Green Crowd.

Except the public sector jobs couldn't get funded without the free enterprise in place. The former ultimately gets its funding from the productivity of the latter. The latter, on the other hand, does not need the former to function. Kind of akin to how a baby needs a parent to raise it in order to survive, but adults will continue living whether they have kids or not. That's why so many black markets thrive...and gee, it can be awfully lucrative with no government regulation in place. Go figure.

So, looks like old Mitt is right about this one.
