PS2 Video Game Simulations ***WEEK 9 EDITION***
I made a decision to bring these back after oh...a few days off. MistaFlava won with Temple -3 and PS2 predicted a 17-14 win by Ohio but the game so similar to the real game that it grabbed my attention again.
So I will continue posting with the angle to see how it does.
Ohio-Temple Simulation (Without DiMichele at QB for Temple)
7-0 Temple
7-7
10-7 Ohio
14-10 Temple
17-14 Ohio (TD with :20 left in the sim)
PRETTY DAMN CLOSE!!!
Ohio-Temple Simulation (With DiMichele at QB for Temple)
7-0 Temple
14-0 Temple
14-3 Temple
14-10 Temple
21-10 Temple
21-13 Temple
We had a poster sometime last weekend who brought up the idea of using EA Sports video games to simulate games. I don't know how many of you remember when I did this back in 2005 but I used to spend hours doing pretty much the same thing, fixing rosters to the dot, using accurate weather predictions and doing all you can do have a decent simulation.
The results were staggering. The PS2 simulations hit something like 13 in a row in College Football, 14 of 16 in NFL and the same success was found in NBA and College Basketball. I got a bit side tracked with some personal stuff right after that and never thought of doing it again.
***WARNING*** Since these are the only games I posted claiming I used PS2 for simulations, these are the only games I will talk about win or lose. I actually don't care much for the drama that surrounds posting systems like this but if this means changing diapers for a few members on this site, so be it. ALL PICKS BELOW POSTED HERE AS PS2 SIMULATIONS

By now you get the point that all the games I simulated, after playing with all the settings and rosters for hours, turned out the results it did back in 2005, the last time I tried this experiment.
This is not misleading anyone because with time you will see how accurate and powerful these simulations are and I had never thought of bringing them back once and for all. I will select only the best 6-7 games.
***NO BULLSHIT RECORDS, THE GAMES LISTED ABOVE ARE SOME OF THE SIMULATIONS I HAVE POSTED, END OF STORY***
You don't have to like what I'm doing but it works. Enjoy while it lasts, I will post the picks and simulation results in this thread for this week.
TWO THURSDAYS AGO (PS2 Simulation)
Wake Forest -2.5
LAST THURSDAY (PS2 Simulations)
NC State +11 (almost exact score)
TCU -1.5
Do not get discouraged if the PS2 loses one or two games. I kinda gave up on the idea with all the PM's to bring it back I thought I would give it a shot again. I put tons of time and effort into this shit and in the end it wins, wins and wins some more. Most of the time.

Auburn +3
:toast:
The first game saw Auburn breakout the offense in a 28-21 win over West Virginia. Coaching made all the difference in the world here and I think it will again tonight. The Tigers can't seem to hold on to the ball as they fumbled 3 times but also forced 2-3 turnovers of their own. Their defense did their part to shut this crowd up and they held on a last minute drive by the Mountaineers. Pat White never got things going in this game as this SEC defense was way too much for him to handle. I kinda like the result so I am pounding away on the PS2 prediction and taking Auburn to the bank tonight. Don't know about that score but we'll see.
The second game featured Air Force winning a sleeper 12-7 over New Mexico which is why I am not touching this game. The spread opened at -6.5 for Air Force and has now been bet down to -5. Whenever the opening spread or the current spread matches the PS2 result, there is no point guessing which way you should pick. Maybe betting on the total in this case would be a good idea? Does the UNDER look good to anyone here? Anyways not much else to say here, play at your own risk, not a PS2 play for me.
Disclaimer: I know I'm gonna take a ton of heat for this but I don't care. Right now it's a method of capping that's working for me, it's the reason my numbers are going to get better and in this world of sports betting you do whatever it takes to have an edge. Right? So don't hate, appreciate my postings. I will be doing this for NFL, NBA, CBB and CFB.
Bash away and good following, fading or admiring.
