North Carolina-South Carolina 'UNDER' 66.5 (10 Units)

This one is about to kickoff but I suggest betting on this IN-PLAY as I don't see the total hitting 60. The last two meetings have yielded 36 and 37 points and both have been in the last decade. Both teams finished the season on an UNDER spree in 2014 and I don't see too many points being scored in this one. The UNDER is 5-0 in North Carolina's last five games played on a Thursday Night and the UNDER is 14-3 in South Carolina's last 17 games versus ACC Conference opponents. The UNDER also hit 6-2-1 in South Carolina's last 9 games played on a Thursday night.

Trend of the Game: The UNDER is 14-3 in South Carolina's last 17 games versus ACC Conference opponents.

South Carolina 24, North Carolina 13

Virginia Tech Hokies +14 (25 Units) ***PLAY OF THE WEEK***

Not the biggest fan of going against the defending National Champions but just like in other sports, you have to somewhat expect a letdown game for the Buckeyes or any Champion for that matter. Not sure if everyone already forgot but Virginia Tech beat the Buckeyes 35-21 in their own barn last year. It was Ohio State's only loss of the season in a somewhat dominant regular season and post-season. In that game Virginia Tech controlled the clock, they ran the ball well enough to move the chains and they used the short pass game to their advantage. More importantly, Virginia Tech forced 4 turnovers (3 interceptions and 1 fumble). JT Barrett was 9 for 29, Zeke Elliott rushed for only 32 yards. Hard to believe when you consider the type of season Ohio State had after that. Now consider that JT Barrett is well aware of his struggles against the Hokies last season and something tells me Virginia Tech can make a ball game of this at home, in front of their own fans, in front of the Nation.

I read an interesting stat in a preview article. Virginia Tech is 48-3 SU in non-conference home games since the start of the 1996 season. That should show you how tough they are going to be in front of their fans. How about the fact that Virginia Tech is 18-1 SU in their last 19 home openers (tossing aside that brutal loss to James Madison in 2010). Trends wise, nothing points to a Hokies cover but you have to consider all the intangibles here. They have some 15-16 returning starters combined on both sides of the ball and they've already handled the Buckeyes once in the last calendar year. Expect a very close game.

Trend of the Game: Virginia tech is 48-3 SU in their last 51 non-conference home games.

Ohio State 24, Virginia Tech 22

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! :toast:
